Mio after getting hit was losing a lot of blood. He hit the leopard back and knocked it out cold. He was in pain, but he had to keep it up. He knew war was bad, but his family was more important. He would not let anything or anyone take away what took him so long to get.

[Tora]

"You would rather sacrifice your lives? Fight a war that you could not win? Than share this kingdom?" Simba couldn't understand the leopards reasoning. "I've had nothing but death surrounding my entire life. You think my life has been happy go lucky like yours?" Simba roared and shouted, "You'd give your lives for this king? You leopards would all die along side a king that brought you into a war you could not win?"

Shinova looked over the battlefield. He saw the bodies of leopards and injured lionesses. "Is this what they wanted? Is this what Jengo wanted? Death? War?" Shinova was becoming angered. "Its all that greedy little Jengo's fault. He's the one who sentenced such a thing. He is the one who deserves ---" Shinova said. "What am I saying? No one deserves death no matter what they do."

[Shadowfax]

The leopards looked at Simba for a moment as he roared out to them. Some of the she leopards lowered their paws and others took the advantage and attacked their foes.

"Couldn't win? I've been king here for years.. How on earth do you think I kept my throne? That's right! By killing!" He said, smirking wildly.

However a few of the leopards, including Mio's attacker were now backing away, seeing reason in Simba's words. Meeko leapt up to Shinova's back when he saw the leopards moving as it scared him.

"What the hell are you doing! FIGHT!" Jengo roared.

Simba is right why fight if it only brings death. No king should sentence their kind to death. Killing does not solve anything. All it does it change who you are to a more horrible person that others will not recognize who you are anymore.

He was breathing heavily do to the blood lose. His head was spinning and started to get dizzy.

[Tora]

"Leopards who continue to fight will on result in death. Following an unwise leader to death makes no sense. Jengo order those loyal to you to stand down or you and them both will end up dead." Simba growled. Simba didn't want to kill him, but if he had to he would.

Shinova was tired and angry. War and death were the last resort, and Jengo only wanted to see his people die. "You who follow Jengo aren't going to live. Listen to me. All of you that follow him. He is only sentencing you to death. He can't have his way so he'd rather you all die with him. What he doesn't realize is that no one came here to kill him. He himself has admitted his fear of losing the throne when he admitted to killing to keep it. You want a tyrant killer as king?" Shinova shouted.

Alot of the leopards froze, looking from Mio, to Shinova, then to Simba. They were amazed by the confidence and maturity of the young cub and one or two even wandered over to Shinova and stood behind him.

"What the hell do you think your doing?!" Jengo snarled over Simba's head as he saw half the leopards flee into the jungle, and two stand behind Shinova.

"The cub speaks more wisdom than you. We will protect him should this battle continue" One said as he looked down at Shinova out of the corner of his eye.

Jengo was at a loss. Only seven of his loyal leopards remained. He couldn't bring himself to say the word though and those who remained were young and fearless. He smirked and stood up.

"KILL THEM ALL!" He yelled, leaping at Simba.

You are a fool Mio snapped at Jengo letting your followers die because of your arrogance. If they will not stop then they will die as well.

[Tora]

Simba dodged and attempted a bit at Jengo's neck. Simba was surprised, because Jengo was no different than Scar. He was power hungry and arrogant. It was almost like looking at Scar again.

Shinova couldn't believe his eyes. Jengo was just like the king that killed Shinova's parents, arrogant, power hungry, selfish, and unwise. "You order your followers to death. Suicide missions are never the answer. You must surrender. Do not listen to Jengo. What has he to offer that you would follow him? What can offer you? Protection? How far has that gotten you? Death? Surrender and join us. Become a part of something more. Join a pride for all; not one of tyranny or unjustness."

[Shadowfax]

One of the leopards ran towards Shinova, but the two who swore protection to him leapt forward and grabbed hold of his neck.

"Is this what you want Tommen?" The larger of the brothers asked the leopard in his brothers jaws.

The leopard called Tommen showed no sign of surrendering and swiped at Shinova, catching his chest.

"So be it" The brother said and nodded to his brother.

His jaws came down into the neck of the leopard and his life left him.

Jengo grabbed a large chunk of Simba's flesh in his jaws and bit deep into his shoulder. He tasted his blood and began to laugh manically. Nala was so fearful for her mate, she leapt over a fallen tree and headbutted Jengo that he released his grip and went sprawling to the ground. The rain now began to fall and the lioness looked at Simba through pained eyes.

"Simba.. You have to..." She said sadly as she watched Jengo struggle to his feet.

She hoped he understood what needed to be done to end this madness.

Jengo mate woke and saw the scene before her. Half their numbers fled. Two turned on them and Jengo about to die. She winced as she got to her feet and limped over towards them, only to walk into Mio.

"You... THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!" She roared at the young lion.

How is it? He won't surrender when its over. Some of your kind are on our side. It's over. You lost the fight.
