Nah, I don't think Michael Moore is a genius.

Meh, it's more like people just hate him because he is against American standards, and well, they don't like criticism apparently... Bowling for Columbine was banned in several states. Not because it was offensive, but because they know it's true.

Next book: The moral landscape - Sam Harris

We'll have this conservation another time, Woeler, but not here. Another time, but not here.

But if he believes Mitt Romney will become the next president, I'll give him some credibility. Not to mention, he contradicts himself quite a bit in the video.

Opinion of the book? I saw it quite a few times and it caught my interest... Haven't got around to it just yet...

I'm reading Tescopoly ; how one store came out on top and why it matters.
And actually Tora; I would recommend this book to you as it so happens, especially since you are studying economics like me :) Tesco is essentially he UK equivalent of Wal-Mart (Wal-Mart is Asda over here but Tesco is a UK based company and yeah it's just an interesting read to anyone with a passing interest in economy and monopolisation's negative effects on consumerism.

Oh man I live there and at my local library ( yes unbelievably my town still has a pretty big library... I can't believe it...free knowledge for everyone WTF!)

American politics Huh? How about "The Price Of Politics"? You may have read it or at he least heard of it, a very evenly sided criticism of the debt crisis that has occurred under Obama administration, what has been done about it and what still could be done about it. That's if you are into the spending side of politics (taxation, inflation, corporate tax, income supports and such)

Edit I have another suggestion for ya and wanted to see it so I'm double posting for a cause but;
"Why do people hate America?" Is another great book.
The Master Switch too I really liked, though that is about the actual technicalities that make the interwebz actually work and how corporations would plan to seek control of it this becoming "the master switch" since our lives revolves around it and having companies attempting to control it could be catastrophic, may be interesting for you if you are into technology and corporate greed...

I'm still reading Tecopoly for now.

Finally finished Tescopoly. It kind of drags to be honest and around the half way point onwards just felt like a typical old man "Back in my day" kind of rant against corporate power. Its kind of interesting to some degree but whether or not one could read an entire book on the same matter without forcing themselves to finish it is another matter.

I am just about to get a drink and begin reading "No Easy Day" which is a book written by one of the Seals who were part of the mission to kill Bin Laden, should be an interesting read. Apparently the book was not sent to officials for fact checking and contradicts certain things the government told us about the mission... Hmmm
