I think there are more "People I admire" than heroes, per se.

The first person I think about is Walt Disney I guess. He is really inspiring and I always seem to have quotes from him scribbled up m arm x) J.K Rowling is inspiring as well, she's my heroine. And there's people I know I guess, like my grandmother, my friend Georgina who passed away in May...so yeah. My go into further explanations but that's all for now ^.^

Do fictional comic book superheroes count? X)

Jesus Christ - His way of teachings and ministry were groundbreaking during his time. He taught of compassion, love, and forgiveness to the multiludes. He is the fulfillment of most of the prophecies in the Bible, and was quite noble despite his status as the Son of God. Finally, he took the sins of people before and after me upon himself, and died on the cross only to rise up from the grave victoriously defeating hell and the grave as well.

Martin Luther King, Jr. - Dr. King stood up to the wrongs of the American society concerning the racism of not just African Americans, but of all people of color. He wisely followed Gandi's teachings of nonviolence protest, and Thoreau's civil disobedience. His words of that "one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character" has been a reality, and a part of American language. He died as a matryr, and his birthday is forever honored as a federal holiday.

Walt Disney - He is a real inspiration to me. Here, we have a man that grew up in rural America, and was ripped off his creation only to become a trailblazer in the world of western animation. His quotes are quite memorable and inspiring; "It's kind of fun to do the impossible" is one of my favorites. Finally, he brought joy and happiness to those young and old when he opened Disneyland and Walt Disney World (posthmously), and his movies have had groundbreaking technical achievements while still telling a heartfelt, emotional story.

Jim Henson - Like Walt Disney, Henson grew up in rural America, and grew up to becoming a trailblazer in the puppetry world by doing something very simple: taking a piece of green cloth, and transforming it into a memorable character, Kermit the Frog. Against all odds, he managed to make audiences young and old watch one of the greatest television shows of all time, The Muppet Show. His influence still lives on Sesame Street when an estimated 77 million people had watch the show when they were young according to a 2008 report.

My parents - They have always been there for me, and continue to support me to this day. Their lives always drive me to finish college, and strive for more in life when I get older. Finally, I wouldn't be 99% of what I am if it weren't for them.

I always hated that rumor of Walt's supposed antisemitism, and I wish it would die. Walt Disney was NOT
an antisemitic. He even hired Jews to work for his company; most famously, the Sherman brothers who had a very positive attitude towards Walt.

All the man did was join a group that supported his political beliefs (that just so happened to have antisemitic values) alongside the likes of famous icons like John Wayne and Ronald Reagan. However, I never hear accusations of Wayne and Reagan of being anti-semitic. Why does everyone pick on Walt? Because it's just popular to do so.

Actually never knew that. Wow. That's come as a shock lol. In ways, that does change my opinion of him but I don't think anyone can deny he shaped the face of family entertainment to what it is today (a load of crap). What I mean is, he worked on something not for adults, but for children. And I like that.

My mom, for sure. She works 3 jobs, from dawn till 1 AM most days, just to keep us in a house. She's so kind and caring and fun to be around, and a big inspiration for me. I love her so much. <3
