I like Scar to a degree, but I just think he was naturally envious of Mufasa. Where is all this talk of his parents thinking he was dirt coming from? I don't see Mufasa as being boastful. Honestly I would bet he was responsible from a young age. Maybe a bit like Simba in his early cub years.

I can see why you think that, but it takes more than just envy to make you kill your brother. That's why we think Ahadi probably didn't want Scar in the beginning, but Muffy only mimicked him.
