well, Nuka being much more lithe and with a smaller mane than many, he probably can run pretty fast.

oh! and according to one storybook of TLK2 I got, it was Nuka's idea to catch Kovu alone with Simba and make it look like Kovu was following the plan. Nuka said he'd show he true colors, which was true. except that Nuka expected Kovu to side with Simba (which he did) whereas Zira was still clinging to the hope he would side with them.
