Nova nodded and looked down at the cubs once more. She knew she'd have to be strong for them and she trusted Mio. The three cubs mewed and looked up at her with adoring eyes making Nova forget instantly about the leopards. These were her number one priority now.

I won't leave your side tonight when morning comes I quickly try to find food. I am new at this do they need mice or something? I am clueless. Well let's enjoy our adorable cubs.

Simba was annoyed, but he knew it would be wrong to let those cubs suffer and die. He disliked Nova for all the disrespect, arrogance, and ignorance she possessed. "Fine." Simba growled. "I will help them this once. From now on she is on her own. What is it that I must do for them anyway? Why is she in danger of death?"

"This Jungle is inhabited by a pride of leopards. They believe that they own the land, and even tried to kill me." Shinova replied. "Me and Meeko both."

"No, they can't eat solids yet" She said, winking over at Mio.

"Though I am pretty hungry so if you don't mind doing a bit of hunting, I would gladly eat a share of whatever you catch" She said with a smile.

Meeko nodded in agreement to Shinova's question. He was still too nervous to actually speak to Simba, so merely nodded when appropriate. Nala looked from Simba to Shinova.

"Is this jungle far?" She asked the cub.

Alright be careful! I will be quick do not worry. Love you.

"We'll be fine Mio. Go on and watch out for leopards" She managed to say with a slight giggle.

She looked back to the cubs who were rather active considering they'd not been here long.

As he goes and searches for food he does not see any leopards since he was on there side of the line then he saw a weak antelope an went I'm for the kill. He kills it with ease and he starts to bring it back to Nova after thirty minutes of dragging he was finally back at home.

Nova heard approaching paws and she looked through the waterfall to see the blurred reflection of Mio approaching. She smiled and got to her feet as the cubs were sleeping now and she needed to stretch her legs. The sunlight made her eyes water as she'd been in the cave for near on 24 hours now. She took a deep breath and looked around the clearing, wondering where on earth Shinova was.

He comes and lays the anetlope down for her to eat. Hey have you seen Shinova? It has been a full day and we haven't seen him or heard from him. I am getting worried.

"I was about to ask you the same thing" Nova said, taking a bite out of the prey.

She scanned the tree line with her brilliant green eyes, but saw nothing of him.

"He's probably off with Meeko exploring, but if he doesn't come back by sunset, we better go and search for him. He wouldn't have been foolish enough to wander over the line"
