Chuki sighed at the antagonistic speech of Gale. Not for the first time he wished that the human could just understand him already. He followed the human into the bushes to the camp-site wondering how he was going to call the other humans.

after a long walk and nearly about to die from his injuries, Gale reached his abonden campsite and started searching the flare gun. ''Darn, where is it... where is it?! It has to be here somewhere!'' He said while he kept searching. ''Ah, here it is!'' Gale said, as he found the flare gun, and fired a flare high into the sky. ''Now I hope they'll find me just in time...'' Gale said, as he lost consciousness and fell down.

Chuki watched as the sky lit up. Ah so that's how he's signaling the other humans he thought. As the night grew colder and still no one came for Gale, Chuki came out from the bushes and curled up beside him, to keep him warm. Chuki stayed alert though, knowing that when the humans did come he would have to leave, and leave quickly. As day broke over the horizon he heard voices coming from the East, with a tired sigh Chuki stood up and stretched, then walked over to the bushes. Laying down so that he was camouflaged he watched as the scene of the humans finding Gale unfold...

The sound of a vehicle started to become louder, as a small jeep with a patrol team approached Gale. Two armed men with rifles got off the jeep and lifted Gale up and puts Gale in the back of the jeep. ''So he fired the flare... Looks like he was attacked by a wild animal'' one of the men said. ''And I see the pawprints of a lion that was following him, and they are still fresh. That means the lion has to be still arround'' The other man said, as he looked arround carefully while holding his rifle.

Chuki, hunkered down to the ground, careful not to make a noise. He watched as the men got into their vehicle and drove off. Staying to the long grass Chuki followed them, not wanting to lose Gale, at least not yet.

a while later, Gale woke up in a small wooden hospital somewhere in the african jungle, with all of his wounds stitched up and treated with anti-biotics. He noticed he was alone on a bed in a wooden chamber at the first floor.

A man came into Gales room and looked at him. "good you're awake. Do you want to tell me now what you were doing out in the jungle? and how you survived a lions attack?"

''What I was doing? I was lost of course, what do you expect...'' Gale lied, prefering not to tell he was hunting lions since it's illegal.

"yes, of course you were lost, right next to a main path our of the jungle?" The man said sitting down on a chair next to Gale's bed. "Now don't give me any B.S. excuses , how did u survive that lion attack? we saw footprints all around ur body when we got there.

''How the heck am I supposed to know, you moron... I was unconscious and not even aware there was a lion arround me. And how I survived that lion attack? I think it's called LUCK if you don't know it yet.'' Gale sarcastically said, while slowly getting up out of his bed.
