That is a great name. He liked when Nova laid her head on his mane. He said softly what about Ace. He will be a strong lion one day. I am so proud. They all look adorable.

"Ace, Vex and Rayn. Perfect" Nova said, giving each of the small bundles a lick on the head.

She smiled over at Mio. She had never been happier in that moment. The thought of the leopards, Simba, Scar and pride rock just vanished from her mind as she sat with her three very own cubs inbetween her paws.

"I can't wait to show Shinova and Meeko" She said gently.

Yeah I wonder where they are? He was getting worried about them, but he gave each cub a lick on the head. He smiled when he heard them purring all together. He look over to Nova and nuzzled her.

The cubs mewed and looked up at their parents with wondering eyes. Nova nuzzled Mio gently and then looked down to see three sets of eyes looking up at them. She laughed slightly.

"Is your father really that scary" She teased them.

Well it may be you he teased you look fierce. Rayn has brown eyes like me. While Ace and Vex has your eyes. Wow looks like Vex almost looks exactly like you.

[indent]Simba roared pacing back and forth. "My father? My father would help animals in need from the Pride Lands. Nova had her chance and she decided she wanted to be banished." Simba growled.[/indent]

[indent]"Do you really think Mufasa would turn his back on a potential ally? Turn his back on innocent cubs? Would Mufasa have let them die? You know the answer to that Simba. A wise king looks to find allies; not turn them away." Shinova retorted confidently. He knew he was treading on ground borderline disrespect, but he was desperate to try anything to persuade Simba.[/indent]

"She looks a little like my old friend back in my old pride" Nova said, her eyes shining with tears.

She had fond memories with Vex, but when she was taken away from her, memories after that with her pride were dark and fearful. She shot the memory away and looked down at Rayn who was trying to struggle over her paw, as if wanting to explore already.

Meeko leapt up and hid between Shinova's front paws at Simba's almighty roar. He wasn't particularly keen on this lion already and he was shaking as he watched him pace.

Nala narrowed her eyes and looked at Simba with annoyance.

"Simba.." She said with worry.

Nala stepped towards Shinova, as if siding with him.

Well she must of been a great friend. You seem to find the best of friends Nova you had two good friends it seems. You would give your life for them. Woah now you are not even a day old yet Rayn take your time. Your adventurous like your mother.

Rayn paused and looked up at her father with questioning eyes. She smiled and then began to chew on her brothers ear. Nova laughed and wanted this happy moment to last forever, yet she felt herself saying this without even knowing.

"I hope those leopards stay away"

They will I won't let anything happen to our new family. He whispered I love you. Just let me worry about that and you care for the cubs.
