Silent Hill

MusicLion101: I know, when Alex was mourning over Josh near the end and he gave him the ring back, I was like "Nuuuuuuuu  :cry2:"

Lol, "man-tears" is my new favorite word

But yeah, when Mary has that voice-over at the end when she reads her whole letter, that also reduced me to tears
Especially at the end when she goes, "James... you made me happy"... that was, I'm fairly sure, the first time a video game ever made me cry, lol.

And I know, shame on me, watching the endings :innocent:
But, c'mon, I had to know what happened, after watching the whole walkthrough

And I have a fear of water, so the drowning ending, just... *shudders* :disgust:

RKLE75901: Yeah, he's right, just run away unless it's completely blocking your path - those monsters are diabolical
:P
And I saw the movie - I'm still angry that changed Harry into a woman :x
But otherwise, I actually enjoyed the movie (even though lots of other people hated it, lol).
You're the same as me. It's easier just to run...

Yeah, when it comes to movies like that, I try to completely separate the movie and whatever the movie is of - a video game, a book, or something like that. Because they always make it so different, lol.

I liked Rose, but... c'mon, she's supposed to be Harry! :eyebrow:

And I didn't understand why Pyramid Head was there - he wasn't there in the first game, and he didn't really have a purpose there. Like, he was there in the second game to be a punisher for James, but... what did Rose ever do? :hesitant:

But as a stand-alone movie, it was pretty good, I thought. Although I thought it would be creepier than it was (and a little less gory :ew: - I don't usually mind gore, but that scene with Pyramid Head and Anna... :disgust: That made me cringe :ehh2: Oh, and the scene at the very end :yuck:

But isn't the church at the very end of that movie the one where Alex visits near the end of Homecoming? I thought it was kind of interesting that they made Homecoming tie in to the movie so much - like they made the transition from the regular world to the Otherworld exactly like it was in the movie... :hmm:

They probably did it so that they would be able to say the movies fit the games well ;)

I'm never going to look at Christmas presents in the same way again now
