character designs that are changing during the movies

My cat has blue eyes but they change to green eyes in different lighting. Nala's eye color is not a mistake in the first movie, it's just the result of different scenes having different lighting.

And about Vitani's changing design - Yes, she has about three different styles in Simba's Pride. It's quite funny to see all the different adult Vitanis in the movie.

For example, we have the black rimmed ear Vitani in this scene:

Seconds later, the black rims are gone!

yeah, I noticed the thing with Vitani too. there's a topic about it on my forum: http://z8.invisionfree.com/Pride_Rock_N ... owtopic=52

but Vitani's eyes were mis-colored only in that one scene with her and Nuka in the Elephant Graveyard. so that was more of a fluke, likely it was the artist who typically did Nuka at fault there. still, I do find that annoying. that's why when I make graphics with that scene I always change her eyes back to blue

and Nala's eyes do change in the first movie. the scene where she is stalking Pumbaa you can't deny how pure green her eyes are when they do the close up of her looking through the grass, although in most scenes it is just lighting. however, in SP a change from dark blue to light blue isn't that major cause it could merely be lighting and shading affecting it.

Well, about the green and blue eyes: It's not all Disney's fault. My eyes are naturally blue. But they change from blue to green to blue to green to blue ALL the time Maybe that has something to do with it.

Anansi's used to do that too. but now I think her eye color is a bit more easy to decipher.

yeah, lighting can really affect eye coloration. mine can look green, brown, gold (hazel?), or my actual eye color (half green, half hazel) depending on distance, what I'm wearing, and lighting. so maybe that's just the reasoning behind color swaps.

Yes, lighting really effects. Look at the scene with Scar and Simba when Simba is off the edge of the cliff. The lighting of the fire makes it look somewhat as if Simba is bleeding. See my point? That also goes for Vitani's eye color and black ear rim.

The lionesses in the scene where Simba confronts Scar change their designs in practically every cut.

Here they have uncolored toes like Nala...

...and now they all have colored toes.

And now they all have ear rims!

Not to mention the fact that the Sarafina-like lioness helping Sarabi up in that first picture either vanishes or completely changes colors between that cut and the next.

woah, that's really messed up in one movie. I never ever saw that before (and I did, and do watch the movies a lot)
in the last panel they're like Sarabi-clones, just differently coloured....
