I have discussed my opinion on gay marriage in other threads on this forum. So, read the "Election Day 2012" thread for my opinion on the topic.

But, may I ask: Are people born "gay"? Isn't it a choice? Has the "gay" gene ever been found yet?

It's not a choice. I can tell you from personal experience that I've always felt this way, even as a child. To say it's a choice is totally ignorant and I hate when people say that. Do you have a choice that you're straight? Is there some sort of straight gene that needs to be found?

^Of course its not a choice. And the gay gene is still a theory as far as I know. And I would state my opinion on what makes a person gay but last time I talked about sexual subjects on here Moka told me off for it so better not lol. Plus Woeler covered it already =)

The bible says that it is wrong, but we are not god. We do not have the right to condemn or say they don't have the right to. I don't see them being able to marry as a problem; although I do not openly support it. If homosexuals want to marry and commit sin it is their choice and who are we to stand in the way?

The bible condemned all sinners. Every human being by the bibles standards are sinners. That's why you're in the religion, if you are. To better yourself. Remember the whole, Jesus died for our sins, thing? Church is meant to be a place for the broken. You can't exactly condemn other people for sinning when you do it plenty yourself, and you know it.

Did I condemn anyone? In fact I just said it isn't our job to condemn anyone.
