Nova nodded and fell asleep next to Mio. She dreamt of the jungle that night. Of Mio, Shinova and Meeko. Their little family. She dreamt of her cubs, and of the free life they had now. Then it turned to darkness when the red eyes came for them. They killed them. Killed them all and made Nova watch.

She woke with a start, shaking and breathing heavily. She soon realized she was safe and looked over at Mio. It was just a dream.

Mio slowly started to awake to the sunrise to get ready for the day. He was feeling good that they finally have a permanent home to finally stay and start his new wonderful life with Nova, Shinova and Meeko.

[Shadowfax]

"Mio.... What if the leopards come and try to hurt us?" She asked, still scared by her dream.

Nova usually tried not to show emotion, but with Mio it was different.

Let them come. They will not stand a chance. I will not let them hurt you or Shinova you can count on that. I will not let them take away our new future in our awesome new home. I will stand by you and we will not fail. He was determined with every word he said.

"Good" Nova said with a sigh of relief.

She smiled softly and looked at Mio.

"I've got something to tell you"

What is it? Are you ok?

[Shadowfax]

"Im fine. Never better" Nova said.

She looked at the floor for a moment, then back up at Mio.

"Im carrying our cubs" She said with delight.

He was shocked to hear this. That is great nuzzling her and giving her a wonderful smile. He thought to himself that he was going to be a father soon. To have his own cub to call his own. He started to think of names to give the cubs

Nova smiled and nuzzled him back.

"If we have a girl, I would like to call her Vex, after my cubhood friend. Sadly, she died when we were little" Nova said sadly, but she had fond memories of her friend.

They were inseparable as cubs, untill the hunter came and took her friend away.
