[indent]"Come, come now must things always end in violence?" Shinova spat. Shinova was ready with an idea. "I hope she likes heights, because she is about to know what it feels like when there is nothing but air under her feet." He continued to remain in the same position wondering how long it would take the slow leopard to make it the branch. He studied her. She wasn't using the vines, but the bark of the tree.[/indent]

[Shadowfax]

"Your a rude little cub! I'll teach you some manners!" She growled.

Meeko cast a terrified glance at his friend. What was he up to exactly?

The leopard got further and further up the tree, her claws chipping off bark as she climbed.

[Tora]

[indent]Shinova glanced at the tree they were on. "There is a lot of vines here; perhaps if I cut them they will fall on top the leopard and cause her to fall down." Shinova began to cut the vines with his claw watching them slap the leopard. As he cut them he continued to wonder if she would fall down. The next thought that came to mind was how he was going to get down since he cut all the vines. As he cut the last vine all he could do was hope.[/indent]

The leopard laughed as Shinova cut the vines and they fell towards her. Yet there was one that she could not dodge and it hit her full on in the face. The leopard slid down the tree, but her claws kept in the tree so that she did not fall to the ground.

"Is that your best kid?!" The leopard snarled.

She went to climb again, but something suddenly pulled her down the tree by her tail and threw her to the ground. It was Nova.

[Tora]

[indent]"Actually no, but I think you'll enjoy a beating." Shinova laughed as he saw Nova grab the leopard's tail. "Nova really does care about me I guess." Shinova thought for a second before he turned to Meeko, "Were you scared?"[/indent]

Mio was standing over the leopard. Growling right in her face. What do you think you are doing?he roared.

Meeko looked over at Shinova. He was still shaking, but managed to nod to his companion.

"That was really brave of you..." He said.

"Here Mio. I'll let you deal with this one" Nova said with a smirk. She then looked up at Shinova.

"Are you okay?" She called up the tree.

The Leopard growled up at Mio.

"This is my jungle. I was hunting for prey" She said, glaring up at the cub and Meerkat in the tree.

Your jungle not anymore as he yells into the leopard face. This is our jungle and if I see you attempting to touch the cub you will not have a third chance. Are you a tough fighter then pick on someone your own size!

[Tora]

[indent]"Why wouldn't I be? I get the feeling you were watching all of that weren't you?" Shinova answered to Nova. He turned toward Meeko, "Thanks, but I was only doing what I had to. I wasn't going to let anything happen to you. If Mio or Nova ever came after you I would do the same." Shinova had not felt fear, but a overwhelming urge to protect those he cared about. "I'll never leave you to die." Shinova whispered.[/indent]

"I had every faith in you to act. But we wouldn't let her hurt you" Nova called to the cub in the tree.

Meeko smiled at his friend. Words could not describe how grateful he was in that moment. The meerkat looked down at the three big cats below.

"So... Do you think you can get down?" Meeko asked.

The she-leopard growled and leapt to her feet.

"You made an enemy today. My mate, lord of this jungle will hear of this" She hissed as she began to circle Mio.
