Well i think its Mheetu because it looks like he had a little Tuff on his head and light paws and it looks like it in the shot but i could be wrong it could be Nala.

Well, it's unsure if Mheetu has coloured paws or not. The TLK artists didn't colour the scetches.

It seems much more likely that that cub would be one of the main characters with a slight coloring mistake than a character who never even made it further than the concept art stage.

And this isn't the first time Nala's paws have been colored incorrectly in TLK, either. I was looking at some scenes on the TLK DVD, and in the scene where Scar is circling Simba and the camera is circling them both, I paused the DVD as the lionesses appeared in the background, and guess what I saw? That's right -- lighter colored toes on Nala. (And yes, that is definitely her. Not only is she lighter than all the other lionesses, but she is standing on that elevated slab of rock throughout the scene.)

Well, those mistakes are common. But that cub doesn't look like Nala much. It could also be a mistake.

well, it's also quite big for a cub, comparised to Simba on that screenshot. It looks more like an older cub than like Nala's younger brother, when I took a closer look at it.
