"And who might you be?" Shinova said peering up the tree spotting the meerkat. "Not like a meerkat to be out of his hole so high in a tree now is it?" Shinova was holding back a growl, because he didn't know if the meerkat was a mere distraction for a larger predator. "I know Mio said this jungle was safe, but you can never be to sure." Shinova thought as he continued to stare at the meerkat waiting for a response.

Mio finally got back to the den that night. He gently laid Nova down. He went to see if she was still breathing. Luckily she was. He lowered his head and licked her cheek and said I am going to get some food for us. He went out and to look for some prey. He found two Zebras one a child for Shinova and the other adult to feed him and Nova.

[Shadowfax]

"I like climbing tree's. I feel safer up here" The meerkat said innocently.

He leapt down one branch so he was a little closer to Shinova now. The meerkat was still a youngster, with spikey hair and rather skinny. His big blue eyes surveyed Shinova closely.

"And... My parents and clan are gone so... I am alone" He said sadly.

Nova's eyes opened slightly. Immediately she realized how much pain she was in and winced as the wounds stabbed at her body. The lioness waited for her eyes to focus, but still she had no idea where she was as she looked around the clearing.

After getting the two kills he finally dragged them back to the den. He noticed that Nova has woken up. How are you feeling?

[Shadowfax]

Nova slowly pushed herself to her feet, every muscle in her body hurting as she did so. Looking to Mio, she suddenly blinked in confusion.

"Where... How did I get here? Why.. Why am I here?" She managed to say.

You are in the jungle with me. I carried you here. I did not want to see you die. I was worried about you and had this horrible feeling that something bad has happened.

[Shadowfax]

"Heh, well as you can see...You weren't wrong" Nova said, forcing a smirk.

She tried to walk a few steps, but collapsed.

"Stupid lionesses" She growled.

I glad I came when I did. Zazu told me you were exiled. Why would they do this? Who attacked you and do not move. It will take awhile for the pain to go away.

[Shadowfax]

Nova looked up at Mio. Momentarily there was a look of thanks in her eyes, but she turned away quickly.

"Sarafina and her lionesses. By order of the king, I am sentenced to exile and should I return, the penalty is death"

What that is wrong! You have not done anything wrong. As Mio walked next to Nova and lied down next to her. So did you at least put up a good fight?
