the americans weren't also very nice. nuking two japanese towns, killing thousands of innocent people, but yet they claim Hitler was a monster.
This might not happen often, but I 100% agree
People can deny it all they want, it was pure terrorism. Over 200.000 civilian deaths.
no doubt in my mind, that was terrorism indeed. The only small diffrence was that instead of flying an airplane into a building, they just dropped two nuclear bombs which resulted with an extremely high death tall and happily flew back to their own families, telling them proudfully what they just did was for the ''best intension''. And not far from that, alot of nazi's were being put on trial for crimes against humanity while America actually got away with it.

Any human is bound to their nature of greed and survival. If we need to kill, we will kill. If we need to steal, we will steal. If we are convinced to kill, we somehow kil as well.

The only reason, we, developed countries go to war is because of politicians convincing the majority of the population that war, oppression and exploitation are in our interest. Poor and working people in our countries are sent to kill poor and working people in other countries, and make the rich richer.

There is an evolutionary cause for why we kill. The only thing we need is a trigger, and somehow a goverment can be that trigger.

We are just idiots. Europe had no business in Libya and the US had no business in Iraq. Now both countries are wrecked.

Millions in the United states without healthcare, jobs or access to education had to watch their government squander over 450 million dollars a day during the iraqi war.

Where are our priorities? Where are our morals? They have simply been overruled by a concept called "money".

Stupidity, it kills

In other news, "Don't spend more than 10% of time on the problem. Spend the other 90% on the solution." It's true that fighting over religion is stupid. Use that big brain o' yours to figure out a way to make those fighting sides see sense. Woeler, I love having you here. You're unreal at understanding and articulating problems in society, the world and even human nature. Your intelligence literally blows me away. But is being cold and calculating and sarcastic conducive to actually solving things? Seems to me like if anything will fix what's wrong the world, it's a bit more compassion and empathy and a bit less coldness. I guess that's just me though.

There is no universal "wrong" and "right", there is no universal "problem". What other people see as a plague, may be viewed by someone else as a blessing. There is no ultimate solution, because, we, humans have become far to different from each other. Our cultures, ways of life and yes A LOT OF religion have separated us as a species.

Try and make the following people agree:
An all cared for European, very high political freedoms. Pays a lot of taxes
A warhungry church supporting american republican. Doesnt want taxes
A liberal american.
A poor african.
A middle-eastern jihadist.
An asian factory manager.

We have become far too different from each other. There is simply no way we could ever be united again.

We can not solve this problem because nobody agrees on what the problem is and how we should handle it, heck some even deny there is a problem at all.

Loved the bold part btw. You know I am not the only one.

1. I have nothing to lose
2. Not being realistic is the biggest killer on this planet
3. I don't care
4. Humans are stupid
5. Stupidity can not be tolerated. It destroys, it kills and it blows stuff up (or flies planes into buildings)

So are you ready to acknowledge that by being unwilling to work towards a solution and deeming one impossible, you're part of the problem?

Yes I am, and so are you. I am not part of the problem because I say we can't fix it. I am part of the problem because I am part of humanity, which is the problem. The concept "money" has overruled all our morals (which btw, we got through evolution). As long as there is money in the game, we are willing to kill and die. It does not matter who or when or why, we just do it. Amd what's worse, we are too cowardly to admit that it is about the money. We feed ourselves with lies, that war, oppression and exploitation are somehow needed to create a better world. That destructing and occupying another country is somehow needed to create a better world. That pumping billions and billions in defense forces while our own people are living on the street with no healthcare, jobs or access to education is somehow needed to create a better world.

Each and every moron can see that this is not creating a better world. We simply don't want to see it. We don't want to admit that even we, developed countries have serious issues. You always hear on the news about oppression in Iran or Pakistan. What we never hear though is the millions in the united states without education or jobs. The oppressed people in white Russia being executed for nothing. The still corrupt governments of eastern Europe who still secretly exploit their people.

The problem is us, the problem is the difference between what we actually see and what we choose to see.

There's an evolutionary imperative why we give a crap about our family and friends. And there's an evolutionary imperative why we don't give a crap about anybody else. If we loved all people indiscriminately, we couldn't function.
