Here's another piece of work for all of you. I normally do a re-do piece of old canon art in June, but as I was moving at the time, I only got it sketched out. I'm sure many of you will recognize this, as it was one of my more popular pieces.

Story:
Kovu roared as his threw his opponent to the ground and a cloud of dust rose. Vitani rushed to help the lioness to her feet as Kovu looked to Zira for approval. He panted heavily, but gave no other sign of weakness or even tiring.

Zira glared at her son.
"You are pitiful excuse for a warrior Kovu. How can you expect to ever kill Simba if you can't even kill a pitiful lioness"

He growled at her, glaring back into her eyes:
"That wasn't what this training is meant to do Mother...It was meant to make me stronger not kill of our pride bit by bit."

She snorted.
"You should have just killed her Kovu..."

Vitani stared at her mother, then to her brother. It was nothing but hate driving him on, but not hate for Simba, hate for their mother, hate for Scar, and hate for what he was being forced to do.
