"N-No. Im fine. It's just a scratch" Nova said as she walked a few steps past Mio.

"Great... we've lost the cub. And we've not even been looking after him for a day" She said with annoyance, her eyes surveying the land below.

Nova turned and looked over at Mio. His cheek still looked sore and she and him were now in the same boat. Wounded and under threat of exile. Nova knew she would need to tread carefully now. More than anything else, she regretted telling Shinova her plans. What if he accidentally let it slip to Simba of their plans? She snarled at the thought and tried to reassure herself he would not do something like that.

"Come on. We'll go and find him together"

Right behind you. Let's hurry up and find him. I am done being their little puppets. They can be snooby all they want. They won't be for long

Shinova noticed Nova and Mio from afar. He continued to avoid them hoping they would not see him. "I have to get to Simba and Nala. I have to ask them about the previous King. I must." Shinova said aloud to himself. Shinova really liked Nova, but he was feeling that if he finds that Nova has been lying to him that he would have no choice but to tell Simba. "If I tell Simba I will have no future to look forward to, but if I don't tell Simba and she succeeds I have let this Kingdom fall victim to the same darkness that controlled my old pride." Shinova thought to himself.

Nova headed off towards the water hole, the place she had found him last time. Nala's bite was irritating her more and more as the minutes passed, but she would not show weakness infront of Mio.

"I am glad someone else is finally starting to see sense that they are not fit for ruling" She called to Mio over her shoulder as she got closer and closer to the watering hole.

Mio came running to see what it is that she wanted. Mio worried for Shinova. Mio also saw a little limp in Nova's neck so he did not say anything about knowing her she does not like to show weakness.

[Tora]

Shinova caught glimpse of Nala and preceded to talk with her, when it hit him. "Wait Nova said that I might become King. If I was to become King then I wouldn't let arrogance, ignorance, and bitterness come to this Kingdom. Although what do I know about ruling a Kingdom? I don't even know how to fight. Perhaps I won't tell them after all. Shinova than approached Nala. "Nala?"

"Yes young cub what is it that you want?" Nala asked in a pleasant tone.

"I wanted to ask you a few questions about the previous King that ruled this land before you and Simba." he said.

"Scar was his name. He was very arrogant and self centered. He only wanted power. He could care less about his people. To him they were nothing but mere subjects. He ascended to the throne by the murder of Simba's father Mufasa. Mufasa was a wise King, and it is no wonder that Simba is obsessed with following in his father's paw prints. Has Nova told you differently?" Nala asked in a quite annoyed tone after having to repeat the dreaded story she hated so much.

"Honestly Nala yes she has. Although I think she is confused." Shinova said trying to not give anything away. "Is Simba around?"

"No I am sorry he is not. He is off chasing the Hyena's again. I'd be glad if they'd leave this place." She said with disappointment.

"Alright." Shinova said as he walked away.

Nova saw that Mio was watching her and as if she had read his mind, she said;

"It's alright... It's just a scratch"

Smirking at him somewhat, she stopped at the waterholes edge and began to look around for Shinova. He was not there. Nova swore and stalked off again, but halted after a while as she had already walked ahead of Mio all the way here.

"Thanks for the kill last night... Kept the cub quiet for five minutes" She laughed.

Shinova thought that he might find another lioness to ask the same question to. "Must all be out on the hunt." Shinova thought after looking around and seeing no one but Nala. "Nova mentioned someone else. Zira? Hmm Outlands. If I was to go there I would probably be killed. It's probably for the best that I don't. Nova, well probably Mio, is worried sick. I think he might have a particular liking to me, but I don't know for sure." Shinova said as he began to walk towards the den that they stayed at last night.

No problem. Lets jus find them so we do not get in trouble again. I just hate how they are acting so let's find him quickly

Nova nodded, for once agreeing with another. She was shocked to be actually enjoying Mio's company rather than being on her own. She kept these thoughts to herself however as they walked together back to the pride.

'"Nova!" Came a voice from ahead.

It was Sarafina. She was the leader of the hunting party these days and she and her lionesses were looking angry.

"Where were you today? For weeks you've been mysteriously absent from the hunt. Nala is carrying Simba's cub so they need to be fed" She said.

"Do I LOOK like I can hunt?!" Nova growled, revealing the cuts on her neck and her eyes swimming with tiredness.
