"You can't give me detention, just because of my mother! It isn't fair! I didn't even do anything earlier and you stuck me here for the week! Please, Professor McGonagall?" She said, turning her angry face away from Pansy and looking up at the old head of Gryffindor house.

"I shouldn't be here..." She said, her eyes welling up.

Merope nodded at Albus, "I'm fine, I just don't know why he did that." Shaking her head and looking towards the ground. In fact, she was nothing like her mother, and didn't want to be like her mother. Bellatrix was a hater, towards everyone that wasn't like her. Her father, was indeed a half blood, but hated him who were like him.

Ada was walking through the corridors when she noticed a door was open. Professor Parkinsons. Standing there looking in, she spotted Rose. Writing letters, but she was in pain. Why? Without a care in the world she looked at Professor Parkinsons and got angry eyed, she wasn't supposed to do this it be here, but that didn't stop her. "You're hurting her! Can't you see!" Running over the rose and ripping the pen out of her hand. "Rose come with me, I'll help you heal your hand." Taking her from the room.

"Are you okay?"

Mia raised an eyebrow at Scorpio who had been standing there in silence for sometime now.

"Well, if that's everything..." She said coldly, going to walk off.

Rose allowed Ada to lead her from the room. Her hand was sore and dripping with blood from the quill she had been using. She half expected the head of Slytherin to call out to her, but she didn't care. She hated that woman and the further away from her, the better. As they left the room, she came to her senses and looked up at Ada.

"I... Think so. Thanks...." She managed to say as her hand throbbed.

Scorpius was dumbfounded by beauty, as Mia walked away he smiled. "S-she said something to me.." Dropping his books and sitting against the wall. Was it love? Or was it nothing? He wasnt' sure, but he needed to find out soon.

Ada smiled, "Anytime!" Pausing slightly, "I saw the way you snapped at her. You're so brave!" Exclaimed Ada, who lead her into the bathroom. "Now just continue to wash your hand, use the soap too. It will get the germs out and prevent infection." Walking into one of the stalls and grabbing a roll of toilet paper. "We'll wrap it in this, then take you to the nurses office. Okay?"

Albus looked at Merope and said, "Don't worry Merope. Your brother won't hurt you as long as I'm here. What are friends for...you see I don't have many friends either. I'm socially awkward alright? My brother makes fun of me a lot and so do a lot of other Hogwarts students. Friends help their friends."

Professor Parkinson immediately fumed and made a mental note about that the next time Rose came into her classroom.

Meanwhile at the nurse's office sat a Gryffindor boy, who looked up as Rose sat down and saw her wounds. "Are you okay?" He then said, "My name's Callum. You know just between you and me my father taught me how to heal wounds. Would you like to see?"

Rose appreciated Ada's help and allowed her to wrap her hand in the toilet roll. They made their way to the nurses office and Rose looked up as Callum introduced himself.

"Ok... Just... be careful as it's bleeding quite alot" She said, wearily looking at Ada.

Mia shook her head. Who was that boy? He was good looking she gave him that, but he was a blood traitor. And she hated blood traitors. She walked off up the corridor, her cat trotting at her heels. She hoped to find Salazar and see how his first day had been.

Salazar walked down the corridor coming out of Professor Longbottom's detention. He immediately saw Mia walking down the hall. Usually he wouldn't make himself known but he felt like he needed to rant. "Hey..." he said walking up to her. He immediately started talking, using some of the most vile language he could think of to intimidate, "I hate that filthy blood traitor oaf of a professor! They let that idiot Longbottom teach here! My mother should have tortured him along with his parents, the oaf!" He then said, "Ugh! Now I got to go and act like I "care about" that Weaselbum girl! That filthy little half-blood makes me sick, always talking about how great her little Mudblood know-it-all mother was! I feel like telling her to shut up already! Her filthy blood traitor of a grandmother killed my mother! I wish I could just choke her!" He kept ranting and raving as he waved his arms around.

Callum got his wand and whispered a spell as the wounds began to heal. He then told her, "See that wasn't so bad," he said smiling at her. "So uh what...I mean do you want to go to the library or something."

Mia was somewhat amused by Salazar's little outburst but she kept a straight face and heard him out, after all he was the closest thing she had ever had to a friend before. When she thought it was ok to get a word in, she said;

"Well... Sounds like you had a good first day. Getting the Weasel girl to trust you is not going to come over night, though she is warming up to you. I can see it in her eyes. As for Proffesor Longbottom, don't worry about him.... You can ditch Herbology soon enough. It's a stupid subject, that's probably why he is teaching it" Mia said with amusement.

Rose looked down at her hand, amazed at the good work he had done with her wounded hand.

"Thanks. I appreciate it" Rose said with a faint smile.

"Er... sure. Okay. Would you like to come along Ada?" She asked the taller girl.

Salazar mocked at Mia using the same lines she told him earlier, "So have you got your eyes on any half-bloods or blood traitors hahaha," he said with an evil laugh. Suddenly he walked by the hospital wing and noticed a boy next to Rose. A wierd feeling started to erupt inside of him, jealousy perhaps? Nope he couldn't possible care anything for that half-blood girl, he just needed her for his plan. He quickly said to Mia, "I'll speak to you later." He suddenly walked over to Rose and said, "So I see you're already out of detention Rose..."

Mia's head snapped round and she glared at him.

"Of course not!" She spat.

Seeing Rose and the others in the hospital wing however made her feel sick, As Salazar said he was off, Mia nodded, giving Salazar a smirk as she left once again.

Rose looked up as she heard his voice and smiled faintly, hiding her bandaged hand from view.

"Oh, hey there Salazar. Yeh, I left a little earlier than expected" She said, avoiding the full details of what actually happened.

"This is Ada and Callum by the way"
