Delano grinned. "I'm guessing that you showing up will be quite a shock then," he said, "because I don't think they will expect seeing you again." He noticed that they were coming close to the tree, and fell silent. Personally, he hoped that Lina will be a good enough distraction for Shrike and Amuza so that they will leave him alone for the most part.

As soon as the tree was in sight, and Kasi saw his two friends, he quickly ran over to them. "Hey guys! Guess who I brought along?"

Amuza looked and saw Delano and someone else heading towards them. "Oh, you brought your cousin back," he said, "I was afraid we scared him off after yesterday. But the other one... it's uhh.." his eyes widened when they finally reached him. "Hey, Lina."

Lina chuckled at what Delano said, thinking that the reaction of Amuza and Shrike to seeing her again was going to be a rather amusing one. They would be surprised, she had no doubt about that, but she also doubted that they'll be upset about seeing her. When they approached the two lions in question she smiled, despite the blank and surprised expression she received when they recognized her. "Hey guys..." she said with a smile, finding the whole situation rather awkward.

Delano sat down next to Lina, enjoying seeing her nervous. He now saw the appeal in teasing her all the time, and finally understood why Fadhili did it. But what he really enjoyed the most was seeing Shrike and Amuza also clearly nervous and out of the comfort zone.

Amuza grinned at Lina. "So, Lina... Long time no see," he said, "how you've been? Anything we should know about?" He didn't really know what to say, and he knew that just pinning her as they did before would be a bad idea now. Plus, he didn't know if she will pin him instead, making things worse for him.

Lina, still finding the whole situation rather awkward, smiled at the two lions. "Yeah, long time no see..." now that she was looking at them all grown up it really did seem like a very long time. "Well, not much... I met Delano but I guess you already know that." she wasn't too nervous to say that. If they still thought that relationships were something to laugh at at their age then perhaps there was reason to worry about them. She didn't have to worry about that regarding her though, because she was used to her mother teasing her quite often. "And you two? Anything I should know about?"

Amuza and Shrike shook their heads. "Nah, the same as before," Shrike said, "Well, Tango's gone..." He was certain that Lina already knew about how Tango was killed. Shrike frowned after he said this. "Yeah, but other than that... things are mostly the same."

Amuza looked at Kasi, who was grinning at their discomfort. 'Help us out' he mouthed, but Kasi shook his head. "Yeah, so what made you come here today?" he asked Lina, trying to strike up a conversation.

Lina nodded her head slightly when Shrike mentioned Tango, "Yeah, I heard about that..." after all how could she have not heard of it with the way it affected Kasi. And if that wasn't enough, then there was what happened to his mother. But she was happy to see how well Kasi coped with it and that he was okay now. "Well, it's been a really long time since I saw you last, so I thought I should come and see you." they didn't seem to not want her there, but they certainly were finding it as awkward as she was.

Shrike looked at Lina and then Delano. "Really? I thought that he dragged you along over here today. After all..." he grinned, "from what I heard, the two of you are inseparable now." His grin widened when both Lina and Delano turned bright red. "So who's idea was it for the two of you to come back here with Kasi?"

Delano tried not to blush, but he couldn't help it. "It... it was her idea, actually," he muttered, "she really did want to see you guys again. If anything, it was she who had to convince me to come back."

Lina did turn red a little when Shrike said that he had heard about her and Delano being inseparable, but her face soon returned to its natural color because she was used to her mother teasing her all the time. Once Shrike, Amuza and Kasi would start going out with lionesses they might stop finding the whole thing laughable, but with the way these two lived alone on a tree and the way they and Kasi only hung around each other it didn't seem like it would ever happen. "Yes, it was my idea."

Amuza regained some of his confidence after Shrike poked fun at Delano and Lina, and it gave him an idea. "So, Lina, now that you're here," he said, "how do you want to hang out. Like old times?" As he asked this, he fidgeted a little, preparing to move quickly out of the way. When they still hung out together, they would chase each other and try to pin on another all the time. They would often pounce on each other without warning, something Lina used to be quite good at.

Delano looked at Lina, not knowing what Amuza meant. But her remembered how Lina said that as cubs, Shrike and Amuza were supposed to be even worse than they are now. He glanced nervously back at Kasi's friends, spotting how Amuza looked like he was getting ready to do something.

Lina took notice when Amuza fidgeted a little and knew what he had in mind. As tempting as it was to hang around like they used to when they were cubs she knew that they were too old to play wrestling. "Well, not really." Despite winning almost every single wrestling against Amuza or Shrike she felt like it wouldn't be a good idea. Also, Delano might get a little uncomfortable if they started chasing and pouncing each other. "I was thinking that we could just... hang out, like grown ups."
