Delano at first smiled when Lina woke up, but then he felt bad when she complained about it. "Oh, sorry," he said, feeling bad. He allowed Lina to rest against his mane again, noticing that she was likely to fall asleep again. He didn't do anything, not wanting to upset her even further by disturbing her rest.

Lina let out a yawn as Delano said he was sorry for waking her up. Despite still being rather tired she was able to catch onto the slight hint of guilt in his voice. "You're lucky you're cute..." she said sleepily with a chuckle, rubbing her head in his mane until she felt comfortable enough again. "And comfy..." she let out another yawn before falling back asleep, only waking up sometime after the sun fully finished rising.

Delano noticed that Lina fell asleep again, but he himself did not. Knowing how much she liked sleeping against him, especially using his mane as a pillow, he didn't dare to move, should he otherwise wake her up again. He placed his head on the ground and just thought of random things until, once the den began to fill with light again, Lina started to move again, signaling that she was up once more.

He smiled at her, rubbing her head with his. "Good morning," he told her quietly, figuring that he might as well start over compared to her rather disgruntled complaints from the earlier accidental waking. "Slept well?"

When Lina woke up later the sun had already finished rising and its light was shining into the den, making it a lot warmer inside. Lina opened her eyes with a yawn, smiling as she saw Delano looking at her with a smile. "Morning..." she said, rubber her head against his as she stretched her legs, not moving away from him. Despite having been woken up a few hours earlier, she still felt as if she had slept well. "Yeah, I slept great..." she rested her head back on Delano's mane with a smile, thinking that she could continue using it until they had to move.

Delano grinned, feeling better now that he knew that Lina did not harbor any bad feelings for earlier today. "So do you know what we can do today?" he asked her, "I was thinking, we can really spend the day with Kasi and his two friends again. With you, they should be more tolerable..." He looked over at Kasi, who was still asleep in the den, but was bound to wake up at any moment now that the sun began to creep in closer and closer to him.

The reason why Lina wasn't angry at Delano for waking her up earlier was mainly because she forgot about it already. "Yeah, that could work..." she wouldn't mind helping him tolerate Kasi and his friends at all. After all she was his mate and it was most obvious that she would help him even with that. "But we agreed on it yesterday..." she buried her head in his mane again, "You don't need to say things twice..." she chuckled as she said that and snuggled even closer to him.

"So I guess we're doing that." Delano chuckled as well and allowed Lina to snuggle up against him. There was now not much to do except to wait for Kasi to wake up and then they will all be able to leave. But while he waited for his cousin to wake up, Delano didn't mind just sitting there with Lina.

Lina smiled as she continued resting against her mate. She remembered how when she was younger her mother would often want her to sit or lie still even just for 5 minutes. Maybe the difference now was that she was grown up and that it was Delano she had to be with and not her mother. "You know, I never thought that I would be able to just lie here with you for so long without moving..." she went ahead and nuzzled him, "But I'm having such a nice time..."

Delano nuzzled Lina back. "I know," he replied, "I feel like that as well." He was about to say that he really enjoyed being with her when Kasi started to move around. "Ready to go then?" he asked Lina.

When Kasi woke up, he found Delano and Lina looking at him. Their gaze made him feel somewhat unnerved. "What?" he asked, wondering why they would be looking at him.

Lina was about to say something else but before she could Delano asked her if she was ready to go and then she noticed that Kasi was just waking up. She nodded at Delano before getting up and walking over to Kasi. "Good morning to you too Kasi..." she said, not knowing why he was so annoyed by her and Delano approaching him. "Listen, I've just realized that I haven't really spent time with you or Amuza and Shrike for a long time now. I was wondering if it's okay that we hang out with you today?"
