[Private] Balto II: Redemption

Aleu's shining sapphire eyes narrowed. "And just what do you mean by that?" she asked.

"Well for one have you ever hunted before I doubt that and second I want to help you find your place." Kalu stopped in front of her his green eyes looking into hers "Well Aleu will you let me help you?"

Aleu realized that he was right. "Very well, Kalu. You can stay by my side. Just promise me that you won't take me back to my parents and aunts and uncles," she said.

Kalu laughed at her request "I wouldn't dram of it more than likely everyone would keep you sheltered and not let you have any fun." He smiled as he started into the forest his white fur shining in the patchy sunlight.

Jenna reunited with Balto panting and in tears "Balto I can't find her anywhere and neither can the others what do we do?" Jenna asked panicking.

Aleu followed him, glad to have a friend. Meanwhile, Balto and the others had regrouped after failing to catch Aleu. Balto looked at Jenna, Steele, Ice, Amy and Star. "This is all my fault. If only I had told her the truth about herself, I wouldn't have had to drag you out here," he said in a lamenting tone.

"Balto there's no way you could've predicted that this was how she was going to act." Steele said trying to ease Balto's worry. "What we need todo is figure out where sh would've gone."

Jenna's eyes widened "Oh no Balto what if she went into the forest and left town!?" Jenna worried looking around, "Wait where's Kalu I thought he would be helping us since he was the one that told her."

Only then did Balto realized that Kalu was not with them. He sighed. "He must have gone ahead of us in order to find her. Come on, we must head into the forest. Remember, we stick together. The forest is full of bears, wolves that might not like our presence and other dangerous stuff. Let's go," he said. Star looked at Amy. "Don't worry, love. I'm at your side," he said.

Jenna didn't want to move "Balto you go this is something that you and Aleu have to work out." she said Balto was obviously confused "If all of us leave Rosie will get worried and it's possible they will go out looking for us putting them in danger."

Amy hadn't really thought about that but she was right her, Ice, and Jenna had been with Rosie since they were pups "Jenna's right Balto you and the boys go if Rosie comes home and doesn't see me or my sisters there it wind be good. What do you think Ice?"

Kalu kept looking back at Aleu making sure that she was still following him but there was something else on his mind with her she was very cute to him. Quickly he shook his head tossing he thought away hearing her stomach growl "Sounds like we need to get some food so it's time for your first hunt." Kalu laughed.

Ice nodded. "Yes, I agree. I don't want to alarm the master's family," she said. Balto nodded. "All right, we will see you when we return," he said. He then looked at Steele and Star. "Come on, let's go," he said.

Aleu nodded. She had noticed Kalu looking at her in a certain way. She had to admit that he was kind of cute, but he was also older than her, so she put it out of her mind to focus on her first hunt.

Kalu smelled around catching the scent of a rabbit "Okay Aleu first lesson is stalking your prey and getting the advantage." Kalu watched as she started tracking the rabbit seeing it sitting in a small medow. He stayed close to her helping her keep her steps quiet till they were in strike range "Good second lesson is to strike when the prey is exposed."

Steele kept pace with Balto and Star keeping an eye out for Aleu and Kalu but they had alot of ground to cover and it was going to be getting dark soon. "Hey Balto maybe we should find shelter it's gonna be dark soon and stumbling around in the dark is bad." Steele didn't want to mention it but alot of dangers come out at night.
