[Private] Balto II: Redemption

Aleu nodded. "Yes, I see the similarity," she said, wondering what he was trying to say.

Kalu sighed "Aleu it's because you and your dad look like me you both are part wolf. I tried to find a home here once but no one wanted me because I'm a full wolf."

Aleu's jaw dropped. "But Rosy and her family finally adopted Papa. I don't know why anyone wouldn't want me after that," she said, trying not to start sobbing again.

Kalu struggled to keep himself from putting his paw around her "Look Aleu things aren't always the same for everyone times are different Aleu, besides you might have a bigger destiny than you know of like your father did."

Aleu became angry. "I don't care what my destiny is! I just want to get a home like my brothers and sisters!" she shouted. She then ran out of the room to find her parents. "Mom, Dad, Kalu just told me that the reason I wasn't adopted is because I look like a wolf. Is that true?!" she demanded.

Jenna looked in shock but her head hung low she didn't answer her own daughter she couldn't say it to her, she was always her favorite and she always protected her but she had already given her answer. All jenna could do was watch as Aleu ran out crying as Balto went after her.

Kalu walked into the living room and was met with a cold gaze by Jenna "You can hate me all you want Jenna but you know as well as I do that sheltering her from that reality would've only hurt her even more had she figured it out when she got older." Kalu didn't move meeting Jenna's cold gaze with a stern look of his own.

Balto ran after Aleu as fast as he could, but she escaped him after calling out that she hated him and her mother. After sitting in horrified silence for several seconds, he returned to the house and looked at Jenna. "Come on, Jenna. Our daughter is gone and we need to find her. Call Steele, Star, Ice and Amy. I need them too. We stand a better chance of finding her together," he said.

Kalu watched as Jenna and the others got with Balto and split up he saw them all running in different directions to find her. Kalu sniffed the air quickly picking up her scent and taking off he ran swiftly his trianing had paid off he was more agile than ever now making it to the forest edge and saw Aleu. "Planning on running away are we Aleu?" Kalu questioned sitting ontop of a rock.

Aleu growled aggressively. "If I'm a wolf, shouldn't I be living out here?" she replied in a sarcastic tone, hoping that Kalu would just leave her alone.

Kalu jumped down off of the rock andstarted walking around Aleu "Well your really only one-third wolf if you want to be technical but if you're trying to find your place in the world you might need help with that." Kalu chuckled.
