Ice nodded. "Come on, let's go out. I want to go outside and feel the cold wind," she said. She then went through the doggie door, completely unprepared for who she was about to meet.

Steele saw Ice come through the doggie door lost in her beauty "Ice." Steele called to her seeing her just standing there blocking the others from coming out.

Ice growled. "What do you want, Steele?!" she demanded.

Steele didn't move he knew she would attack if he did "Ice I....I came here to say I'm sorry for what I did and to say that I love you." Steele lowered his head.

Kalu smelled Steele the same dog that gave him the scar on his shoulder and growled "Balto Steele is out there we need to get to Ice!" Kalu growled heading out the kitchen to the front door pushing it open.

Balto nodded and headed out. He knew that this might be the end, so he was determined to make it count. He rushed to the doggie door, eager to run off Steele again.

Ice's eyes went wide, but then she growled again. "Steele, how can you say you love me?! You frightened my sister and nearly killed me, all because Jenna chose Balto instead of you!" she said, secretly shocked that he had returned her feelings.

Steeles tail slipped between his legs his ears sagging "I was so upset with everything the girl I thought I loved broke my heart, I lost my musher, and then I lost you." tears started running down his face and hitting the ground.

Kali was the first one to round the corner of the house seeing what was going on Steele not moving and Ice standing there he heard Balto round the corner. He put his paw out to the side stopping him "No Balto this is a fight that Ice has to deal with." the feeling Kalu was getting told him that Steele's emotions were genuin and not a lie.

Ice leaned down and licked Steele's cheek. "Thank you. Now, I'm still open to the idea of becoming mates, but only if you'll let go of your hate of Balto," she said.

Steele looked up shock on his tear stained fur "Th...thank you Ice I promise you won't be sorry and as for Balto." Steele slowly walked over to Kalu and Balto hearing Balto growl "Balto I'm sorry for everything I hope that we can become friends."

Kalu Looked at him and knew that he was honest and was being sincere "Balto let it go he's telling the truth he doesn't want to fight."

Balto was struggling to get the words out. "What you are asking of me is difficult, Steele. For most of my life, you've been there tormenting me, but I think that I can forgive you. Be good to Ice and be the mate that she deserves," he said.

Steele smiled hearing Balto say what he said letting his tail wag "Thank you Balto I won't fail being a good mate and friend, I would love to see Jenna and tell her I'm sorry but I dont think she would accept it."

"You're right about that Steele." Jenna growled standing there She could tell Balto was worried about the pups. "Don't worry Balto the pups are with Amy she told me what's going on and I heard everything."
