[Private] Balto II: Redemption

Steele screamed in pain feeling her bite into his leg, he looked around seeing Balto and Jenna standing there glaring at him he finally backed up looking around "This isn't over yet wolf dog!" Steele limped off.

Jenna watched as Steele walked away beaten happy to see him leave, her attention soon went to Kalu who was now laying on the snow "Balto I'm going to get the human doctor maybe he can help." Jenna quickly turned and started down the street to get the vet.

Kalu struggled to stay conscious he hadn't realized that the wounds he had gotten from Steele were this bad. He grit his teeth hating that he wasn't strong enough to truly protect Ice and the others "I'm sorry you guys I failed to keep you safe."

Ice looked at Kalu. "Look, this wasn't your fault. If it's anyone's fault, it's mine. I went to find Steele. I can't believe that I said that I loved him!" he said.

Balto nodded at Jenna. "Be safe, my love," he said as he watched her leave. He then looked at Kalu. "What did you mean when you called Aniu 'master'?" he asked.

Jenna ran as fast as she could making it to the vets office and barking until he came out to see what was going on. He tried to take a look at her but Jenna turned and barked again finally getting him to flow her.

Kalu grit his teeth fighting off the pain he was feeling his vision getting worse and worse, "She was the one . . . aaahh . . . that taught me hot to hunt and fight when I was still in my pack." he groaned before passing out.

Balto did not want to panic, but he was having trouble. Finally, Jenna arrived with one of the humans. "He passed out," he said.

Jenna watched as the human picked up Kalu carrying him back to the building to be treated. Looking at Balto she was obviously worried "I hope he'll be okay." she could see Balto was a little worried too "Are you okay Balto?"

Steele growled as he limped down the street he was so close to striking the final blow on that wolf he knew it would've bothered Balto but that wolf had been the biggest pain to deal with. He clawed at the side of a house "Next time Balto I'll kill both you and that wolf and Jenna will be all mine."

Balto nodded. "Yes, Jenna, I'm fine. Now, let's follow them and make sure he'll be ok," he said. Ice went to Jenna. "How could I be so stupid, dear sister? I tell him that I love him and he does this," she said.

"You weren't stupid to tell him how you felt Ice none of us really expected that to happen. It wasn't your fault okay Ice." Jenna nuzzled her reassuring her that everything was going to be okay. The walk back seemed like it took forever as they looked inside figuring that he must've taken Kalu behind the doors with the red plus sign on them. Jenna sat down on the floor watching the door "I'm worried about him Balto, Steele got him pretty good."

Balto rubbed his head against hers. "I'm sure the humans can help him," he said.

Jenna nuzzled up against him "Yeah I'm sure he'll be alright he's tough." She smiled, she suddenly jumped seeing them come out and placing Kalu inside a cage and walked over to her and Balto "Don't worry guys he's gonna be ok." the human said. Jenna smiled hearing the news "I think we should go home and let everyone know what happened and give them my good news."
