Rose skidded to a halt as Salazar approached. She sighed, guilty and embarrassed that he had seen the whole thing. She looked away, biting her tongue awkwardly, trying to think of an excuse as to why she was so rude.

"I hate her... Im not going to her detention... Im telling the headmaster about how she talks to me and my family" She said stubbornly.

"I will come to the library with you after your detention though" She said with a smile.

Salazar said to Rose truthfully though he also relished it, "The headmaster will do nothing to help you. He shows indifference and lets each Heads of House do what they want. Professor Parkinson is the head of the Slytherin House. Trust me I know," although Salazar was secretly happy that Professor Parkinson was giving that filthy little half-blood such a hard time. He then said, "Here I got you something to help your detention go by faster." He handed her a copy of Hogwarts, a History, "This new edition has written down more current events from this school. I thought you'd like a nice book."

"But she's a cow! She speaks of us like we are some vile creature! My mother was the smartest student in her year, even if she were muggle born" She said, though her tone changed when Salazar presented the book to her.

She blinked and looked from him to the book for a moment, before she finally understood it was for her.

"Where did you get this? The new edition is so expensive" She said, hesitant to take the book from him, though she was smiling slightly, touched by the thought.

Salazar said, "Oh don't worry about it. Don't you trust me? Look just borrow it for a few days or something." He put the book in her hand and then said, "Well I got to go to detention now. See you at the library."

"T-thank you" Rose said, her cheeks turning a little red.

She watched Salazar go and she stood isolated to the spot for a moment before she too, turned and headed off towards Professor Parkinsons room. She knew she'd be yelled at, but she would shut her ears off. Words would no longer effect her. She's just jealous that I have the genes of a pure blood and a intelligent muggle born! She thought, smiling as she kept the image of her parents in her mind.

When she got to the room, she pushed the door open, found a seat at the back and sat down.

As she sat down Professor Parkinson smirked with a glare before bringing out a set of paper and saying to Rose, "As I said I want you to write down notes hahaha. Now I want you to write these words on the paper 14 times. Trust me that is all that will be required. Write down, 'Filthy Half-blood Granger' down on the paper." As it was written down on the paper suddenly the image was scratched right on one side of her arm. Professor Parkinson grinned, "Oh come now don't stop now. 13 more of those to go. Maybe this will teach you not to interrupt my class." She then looked at Rose and said, "You disgust me walking around just like your mother, thinking you're better and more superior than everyone else. You think your precious mother's such an angel huh?!" Suddenly someone entered the room as Professor Parkinson said, "I thought you were retired Minerva? What are you doing here anyway?"

Rose bit her tongue as the pen scratched at her arm and she tried not to show pain. She did not want to give in and give her the satisfaction of seeing her in pain. She looked up and smiled sarcastically. She was about to write again, but the doors opened and not being able to help herself, she turned her head to see Professor Mgonagall entered.

"Professor...." She said hopefully.

Professor Parkinson immediately snapped at Rose, "I'm the Professor in this classroom not Professor McGonagall! Now keep writing those notes." She then turned to Professor McGonagall, "You see Minerva this is what I do to students who speak out of turn! She's just like her mother, she thinks she's better than everyone else. Youknow as well as I do that the Headmaster will do nothing in MY classroom." Professor McGonagall just said, "What are you doing to this poor child?" Professor Parkinson against started badmouthing, "She's a fool just like her idiot father!"

Rose boldly glared at Professor Parkinson with the utmost hate. She looked to McGonagall once again before slowly turning her head to repeat the line once more. She half listened to the conversation behind her before she snapped her head round at the mention of her mother.

"YOUR JUST JEALOUS OF MY PARENTS!" She suddenly found herself yelling.

Professor Parkinson immediately said, "Detention for another week Ms. Weasley! And I'm not jealous of an insufferable Mudblood know-it-all and an idiot blood traitor!"
