Star smiled. "Well, my humans were taking a break, so I decided to come and visit you," he said, his tail wagging.

Amy turned her head in embaresment "Well . . . Uh thats sweet of you Star I'm glad you're here." Amy nuzzled Star under his chin.

Star returned the gesture. "So, what's going on now?" he asked.

Amy stared out the window "I told Ice that she needed to tell Steele how she feels just like she got me to tell you how I felt." Amy walked over to her bed curling up "But I'm worried he might break her heart if he's still alive and that she'll hate me."

Star looked at her. "Why would she hate you? If Steele breaks her heart, it's his fault," he said.

"But I was the one that told her to go tell him so it would be all my fault." Amy put her front paws over her nose and eyes her doubt had a tight hold on her.

Star came up to her. "Forget it. I'm here," he said.

Amy placed her paw on his her nails putting pressure on his paw "Don't leave me alone okay Star. Stay with me until Balto and my sisters come back . . . please?"

Star smiled sweetly. "I'm here, Amy. I'm also glad there's no one else here besides us," he said, allowing his tail to wag playfully to let her know that he was joking.

Back outside, Ice was smelling Steele's scent even more. Seeing a black and white shape through the blowing snow, she got closer. She had found him. "Steele?" she began.

Amy smiled feeling safe when Star was around her, "Star w....would you want to be mates with me?" she questioned her tail coming out from between her legs a little.

Kalu who had run into the same dog while he was on his hunt was now hidden in the snow he had gotten a bad vibe the moment he ran into him and was content with waiting hidden in case things got out of hand. He wasn't far but hiding under a bush in the snow wasn't easy and with Ice involved things just got more dicy.
