Ice smiled. "You don't have to do it now, but it must be done soon. That is our way. I only wish Steele had loved me like I loved him instead of only loving himself," she said.

Amy gave a sigh of relief putting her head back down on her bed and rolling over on her side "So what happened between you and Steele you never did tell me."

Ice sighed. "Simple. I was in love with him, but he only loved himself, and was hitting on Jenna. I never got a chance to tell him how I felt about him. Now, I don't even know if he's dead or alive," she said.

Amy soon realized that this was probably something that shouldn't have been brought up, "I'm sorry Ice I didn't know but if it's any comfort I still believe that he's alive and that he still thinks about you." She smiled.

Ice looked out the window. "How could he still think about me. I think that Jenna put it best when she said that Steele only notices anyone if they're wearing a mirror," she said.

Amy curled up in her bed putting her tail between her legs "I'm sorry Ice I shouldn't have brought it up." She closed her eyes to take a nap before their humans would feed them.

Ice put a paw on her sister. "Please, it's not your fault. How could it have been? I was the foolish one for wanting Steele as a mate. You did nothing wrong," she said.

A few tears rolled down her face. "You're wrong I should've been there for you but all I did was lay here and do nothing. I should've said something to Steele. Maybe that would've changed his mind," she said.
