Sonic the Hedgehog: Bi-Tornado Down
Sonic’s jaw dropped at the sight of the high-tech, battle-ready, bi-plane in front of them. Tails grinned, feeling proud of himself.
“Wow, Tails, it’s amazing!” exclaimed the blue hedgehog.
“It’s my latest model, the Bi-Tornado. I thought you might like to have an actual seat this time,” the two-tailed fox explained, still smiling from ear to ear.
“And it’s ready for flight now?” Sonic asked.
“Yep! This baby can take us all the way to Angel Island without having to refuel. What’s more, it runs on Rings, rather than Chaos Emeralds, so it’s much easier to refuel when we need to,” Tails replied proudly.
Sonic beamed. “Well then, what are we waiting for? It’s time for us to pay our old friend Knuckles a visit,” he said, winking. Tails nodded.
“Okay, lets go!”
The fox climbed into the pilot’s seat, buckling himself in and firing up the bi-plane. His hedgehog friend climbed into the passenger seat and fastened himself in, as well. The engines roared to life, and a moment later, they were taking off. The bright blue bi-plane rose into the air, the word “Bi-Tornado” painted on the side in a startling yellow visible from yards away. This was going to be epic.
The Bi-Tornado gained altitude, rising above the clouds. Tails casually steered the plane towards Angel Island, very pleased with himself and his latest development. Today was a great day for flying. The sun was shining brightly, but not too brightly, and birds could be seen here and there, chirping happy songs.
“It’s a really smooth ride, too, Tails! It almost feels like I’m running,” Sonic shouted over the sounds of the engines and the wind.
“Isn’t it great?” Tails called back. Before Sonic could respond, a large metal thing began to rise up in front of them. Tails rolled his eyes. How did Dr. Robotnik always find them? Why couldn’t they just visit Knuckles in peace for once? Or, do anything in peace, for that matter.
“What is he up to now?” Sonic asked.
“I don’t know, but it can’t be good!”
The big flying machine in front of them swiveled in the air, a large cannon spinning around to aim at the Bi-Tornado. “Eggman 01” was emblazoned across the machine in white letters. Upon further examination, Tails noticed a speaker near the cannon just before Dr. Robotnik’s voice began to ring through the air.
“Going somewhere, Sonic? Oh, I think not,” cackled the mad doctor.
“What are planning this time, Eggman?” Sonic demanded. The man’s laugh boomed through the speaker.
“I thought it work out best for me this time if I didn’t tell you. I decided the best thing for me to do would be to finish you off, once and for all. Good bye, Sonic the Hedgehog,” chortled Dr. Robotnik.
With that, the cannon fired, and Tails knew that he could dodge the blast.
“Sonic! Hold on, we’re gonna take the hit!” he shouted only a moment before it happened, the Bi-Tornado catching fire and spinning out of control. For a moment, Eggman’s laugh could still be heard over the squealing of the engine as the bi-plane plummeted towards the sea below.
Tails tried to steer the bi-plane, hoping that he could find a small island, or make it close to shore before it crashed. There was nothing in sight. He struggled with the damaged aircraft, his ears ringing, his mind racing. He couldn’t believe he hadn’t included any emergency water landing features, and felt like kicking himself. There was only one option if they wanted to survive.
“Sonic, prepare for emergency eject!” he bellowed, hitting the button to launch the passenger seat, with a windshield that would slide out of the Bi-Tornado’s innards to protect his friend. A moment later, there was a loud whoosh, and Sonic was gone. Taking a deep breath, Tails hit the escape pod button for his own seat, but nothing happened. He looked anxiously around the flashing red warning lights, and spotted the one he’d dreaded finding.
“EMERGENCY ESCAPE POD MALFUNCTION.”
Chewing on his lip, Tails unbuckled his seatbelts. There was only one other way he might possibly get out of this alive, and he was going to have to risk it. He opened the cockpit and jumped out of the Bi-Tornado, spinning his tails like a rotor blade as soon as he was clear of the burning metal. He flew away from the dropping machine and watched his latest model fall. Then he looked around for signs of Sonic’s escape pod. The water was undisturbed below, that is, until the remains of the Bi-Tornado splashed into the ocean.
“Sonic!” he called, hoping his friend could hear him. He got no response, and started lowering himself to the water, knowing that he could maintain flight for much longer. He dropped into the water with a splash much smaller than the one caused by his plane and began swimming in the direction that Sonic’s pod should have gone. Soon, he spotted a large dark shadow beneath the ocean’s surface that had to be the pod , sinking steadily. Worried about his friend, Tails took a deep breath, held it, and dove.
He kicked his legs and paddled with his arms, using his tails to propel himself faster towards the sinking hunk of metal. When he got close, however, he realized that Sonic wasn’t in the pod. Confused, and almost out of air, he returned to the surface, wondering where his friend could be. Gasping for air, he scanned the horizon, but nothing broke the waves.
I wonder what happened to Sonic, he thought, turning around. He was startled to see a small boat coming towards him from behind. Hoping that Sonic had found this boat, Tails swam over.
“Hey!” he shouted.
“Huh? Hey there,” said a familiar voice. He looked up to see Big the Cat rowing the little boat, his fishing pole and Froggie sitting in the boat next to him.
“Big, have you seen Sonic?” Tails asked even as the large cat was pulling the two-tailed fox from the water.
“I haven’t, sorry,” Big replied.
“We were shot down by Eggman, and I lost him in the crash,” Tails explained, “I have to find him.”
“There’s a small island not far from here. Maybe he washed up there?” the cat suggested.
“I guess. Let’s check it out,” the fox agreed, shaking in an attempt to get all of the water out of his fur. His shoes were soaked through, as were his gloves, and his hands and feet were starting to feel icky. He shivered and hugged himself as he waited for them to reach the island in question.
“Look! There’s something on the shore!” Big exclaimed. Tails looked, and saw it. Whatever it was, it was blue, and he crossed his fingers, hoping that it was Sonic, and that his friend was okay. The boat slowed down, the paddles digging into sand, until it would go no farther. Big jumped out, Froggie leaping onto his shoulder, with Tails right behind him. The two made their way up the beach to the blue thing that was looking more and more like Sonic the closer they got. That’s gotta be Sonic! the young fox thought, breaking into a run. He skidded to a stop by the unconscious body of his friend.
“Sonic! Sonic, are you alright?” he asked, rolling the hedgehog over so that he was face-up on the beach. Sonic didn’t answer. Tails continued shaking him and trying to wake him up as Big caught up, but to no avail. Tails was beginning to fear for the worst. Big looked at Sonic over Tails’ shoulder.
“Let me have a look at him,” said the cat. Nodding, Tails moved aside. After a quick examination, Big looked back at Tails. “I think he’s gonna be fine once he’s rested for while.”
Relief flooded through the young fox and he grinned.
“That’s a relief. Say, Big, can you get us back to the mainland in that little rowboat of yours?”
“Certainly,” he said with a nod. Then he carefully picked up Sonic’s limp form, and started trudging back towards the little boat. Tails led the way, wondering what Dr. Robotnik was planning, and how soon they could stop him once Sonic was up.

Avengers: Brother battle
The golden rooms of the castle sparkled, and the floors let out thuds every two so seconds. A man, with long blonde hair, a beard and the strongest muscles around carried a hammer through the castle. His heart pumped as he white knuckled his fist over the handle of the silver hammer, clenching his perfect teeth together.
Another man, skinner than the hammer holding on walked quietly, with only the sound of his golden staff tapping the ground. The man had black hair, and bore a devilish grin along his skinny face. On his head was a helmet, with two spikes coming out of it.
"Loki, brother." The blonde haired man called to the black haired man. "We mustn't fight. Father wouldn't approve." Calling out again, as he heard the clanking that Loki's staff made.
"He isn't my father you fool!" Loki screamed, suddenly behind the blonde man. As the blonde man turned quickly, stepping back a few paces as the staff with the blue light was close to his face. "He was only your father. He favoured you!" Giving the blonde man a wack on the side of his head.
"Loki, we are brothers. We player together, we grew up together. We are brothers." The blonde man said in a calm voice while getting back on his feet. "Don't destroy Asgard. It needs us both." Putting a hand on Loki's shoulder.
Loki shrugged his hand off and let out a violent sigh. "Thor. They only need you, to be King. Odin preferred you all these years, because I was not his real son!" Screaming in Thors face. "I grew up in pain while living a lie! In return I should be given the throne!" Hitting Thor's face again, and stepping back as his supposed brother hit the ground hard.
"Loki, you give me no other choice." Thor whispered as he violently threw his hammer at his brother. This was no ordinary hammer, it was a magical hammer, that only those worthy enough could carry, and throw.
Loki was thrown back against the wall, leaving an indent as Thor summoned his hammer back to himself. "That's not the proper way to treat your King!" Screamed Loki as he let out a powerful charge from his staff, and striking Thor in the chest. Causing him to fly back as well. "Bow to me." Said Loki as he raised his golden staff.
"Never." Thor screamed as he hit Loki with his hammer once again, causing Loki to hit the wall. Each time Loki would get up, Thor would angrily hit him again. "We are brothers!" He said in between hits.
Finally Loki dodged Thor's hit and let out a stream of blue light, that hit Thor and electrified him. Thor dropped his hammer in pain, as Loki threw him back. "The hammer is now mine." Loki snickered as Thor fell to the ground in pain. Ignoring Thor, he walked over to the silver hammer and grabbed the brown handle. "It is mine." Loki whispered as he tried to pick up the hammer, but it wouldn't budge. He kept trying and trying, pulling at the hammer until he looked at Thor. "What did you do to it?" Screaming, as it echoed through the castle hallways.
"The hammers power, only belongs to me!" Thor laughed, getting up off the golden floor and stumbling. "I thought all Kings knew this!" Laughed Thor once again, as Loki looked at him in awe. Thor walked up, and picked up the hammer, as if it was a feather. "It only responds to me." He whispered, smiling at Loki.
"N-No!" Loki yelled, looking around at all the holes left in the wall from his own body caused by the powerful hammer. "The hammer should respond to me! The King of Asgard." Loki said, clenching his teeth. "I am the King!" Loki screamed to the sky, his eyes popped out of his head.
"You are not King, brother-"
"I am the King!" Loki interupted Thor as he stumbled back, then started running away. Through the castle he ran, carrying his golden staff. "I may not be King of Asgard, but I can be King of your stupid girlfriend, brother." Whispered Loki to himself, before disappearing into thin air, not to be seen of, for a little while.

“Will it be a good surprise?”
“It's to die for!”
“…”
“...yes?”
“Hey, now. Don't play that card on me now! I've seen that movie too! Tell me what the surprise is!”
“Alright. It's a surprising... surprise.”
“Gee, very helpful. Any more tips? What about 'it's a surprise that I am not supposed to know yet'? Come on, do tell!”
“No, because if I tell, it won't a surprise anymore. Besides, it will only work properly if you don't know.”
“Why?”
“Because that's the surprise. When you see it, you will know.”
“Okay, okay. But if the surprise won't be, you know... 'to die for', you will have a lot of explaining to do!”
“Oh, believe me. It's a good one!”
“Why do I have a hard time believing you?”
“Come on, now. We're almost there. So quit your yapping and pay attention.”
“Okay now. Where's the surprise?”
“You're looking right at it.”
“You mean that? What is that? What is that thing? That's the surprise? Is this some sort of game?”
“No. Look, I told you I have a pet Duck, and here it is. “
“That's no duck!”
“I can assure you that it certainly is. Not an original, but still very rare indeed!”
“Rare? That thing looks like it cost you pocket change at most! And once again, that's not a duck! That's a.... a... a car! With wings... But a car!”
“See why I couldn't tell you the surprise now? Meet the Duck. It changed the world.”
"Maybe yours. Not mine."
"Oh come on now. At least admit that it's cute."
"Cute? Cute? Who are you? It's just a lump of metal and wood! It's not cute!"
"Alright then. Very well. Let me show you my world."
