Mia had settled down at the Slytherin table, her long black hair hanging over her shoulders. Her cat had wandered off to the dungeon and Mia sat alone with a space either side of her at the table. She watched the sorting with little interest, atleast untill Salazar was sorted and she clapped half heartily as he joined their table. Hearing Merope being sorted into Gryffindor however did suprise her and she blinked with confusion as she watched Salazar's sister make her way to the table with the blood traitors and half breeds. She smirked somewhat.

She raised an eyebrow as Salazar began to yell abuse at his sister and she pulled his robes so he sat down.

"Easy... I know what your intentions are and I agree with you, but don't go yelling them across the hall. You need to be stealthy" She hissed under her breath as he had attracted alot of attention in the hall.

Rose was also suprised as the sister joined their table and she looked over at her cousins with slight horror. She hoped that she was different from her brother after his little outburst. The sister seemed different from him though. She smiled and genuinally seemed pleased to be at their table. Rose put her book down and looked across at Merope.

"Im Rose. Nice to meet you" She said kindly , trying to make an effort.

Salazar simply glared and sat down and whispered to Mia, "Relax. I did that on purpose. Don't you see? Now that I have given that form of abuse to my sister, the Potter brother who likes her will feel sorry for her, and will push himself closer towards her, leading to his death. Oh and don't worry my sister will kill that Potter even if I have to kill whoever to force her to do it. And there is no need to be all 'sneaky' here. The Headmaster is a coward and I'm not scared of anyone here, however you are right, I'll have to downplay that 'keeping the blood pure' stuff now." As they went to the Slytehrin common room Salazar saw Scorpius Malfoy and his sister and mocked, "You know my fellow Slytherins I thank goodness I'm not a blood traitor like Draco Malfoy hahaha."

James glared at Rose trying to be kind to...that Slytherin, "What are you doing?! Don't you know whose daughter she is?!"

Merope smiled at Albus, "It's okay. He's a little bit of a snake himself." Wrinkling her face in disgust. "If you can would you please refrain from calling me Ms. Bellatrix. I may look like my mother, but I refuse to be anything like her." Smiling to the fellow Griffyndor members. Merope smiled to Rose, "Nice to meet you, Rose. As you beseech I'm Merope!" Giggling, then turning to James. "I know of my hertitage, but please don't be afraid of me. I promise I am nothing like my parents, or brother. I grew up away from him, hell, I just met Salazar." Trailing to a smaller voice. "I can garantee you that I won't harm your family or friends." Nodding her head slightly then turning to Albus. "What happens now in this school?" Questioning, wondering why they all sat at these weird tables.

Scorpio turned to his sister. "Ada, look at that freak Salazar sitting at the Slytherin table." He whispered then snickered. "His sister doesn't seem too bad though." Smiling to Ada, who nearly snorted.
"I would love to make friends with the Potter's, Weasley's and that Merope girl." Smiling slightly, sitting at the same table as the Griffyndor's, as that is what they were. "I'm getting too crowded by you." Getting up and walking to the group of seemingly nice people.
"Uh, hello, my name is Ada Malfoy. I hear that our parents turned away their differences and are friends now." She smiled, the same age as James. She noticed how cute James was, but then turned it away. "My brother is Scorpio."

Rose shot an angered look at James as if telling him to be quiet.

"Why was she sorted into gryffindor if she's so evil?" she hissed under her breath before turning back to Merope.

"Well, our lessons will start tomorrow. Looks like your in one of my classes" Rose said, skimming through the timetable Professor Mgonagall had given her earlier.

"Whatever you say" Mia said, taking a bread roll from infront of her.

She laughed as Salazar mentioned the Malfoys and she glared over at them with utter disgust in her eyes. She was so pleased to have someone at the school who hated half breeds and traitors like herself.

James simply said, "Hi," to Ada. Albus said, "Oh well Merope we just sit here and eat until we go to class tomorrow." Soon they all went up to their dorms. The next day Albus walked with Merope and said, "I know this must all seem strange to you but we have magic in these classrooms. I'm sure you'll be a good student." Suddenly James put his leg out and made Albus fall. "Ow! Hey James what'd you do that for?!"

Meanwhile Salazar said to his fellow Slytherins, "Do not follow me around like lost puppies or you'll be sorry!" As he went off by himself he suddenly saw Rose and smiled. Perfect. He quickly put out his leg making her trip to the ground. He immediately said to her, "Oh I'm so sorry about that. I didn't see you there. Here let me get your books for you." He suddenly picked up her books before holding out his hand, "Would you like some help getting up and would you like me to carry your books to class?" He grabbed her arm and pulled her up himself before looking at one of her books, "Hmm interesting book I must say..." in a nonchalant attitude, "You know I like girls with brains. How about we discuss these books?"

Rose gasped as she tripped over Salazar's foot and she hit the ground with a thud. Her eyes narrowed and she glared up at Salazar. He was good looking, she gave him that, but she still didn't like his attitude yesterday in the great hall. As he helped her up, she wrenched her arm out of his grip and looked at him through cold eyes.

"You know, I like boys who don't shout their mouths off in the great hall" She shot back.

She then looked at the books Salazar was holding in his hand.

"Why would you want to speak with me? I thought I was a blood traitor" She snarled.

Mia was walking down the corridor, her cat trotting along beside her. She rounded a corner and walked straight into James. Mia swore and looked up at him.

"Move Potter" She growled.

Salazar looked at Rose and said, "Well you know I don't let anyone insult me. I am a fighter." He then said in a dismissive attitude, "Oh you mean the blood stuff huh? I just had to keep my fellow Slytherins happy. I don't believe in that stuff. Hell I was raised by Muggles." He then grabbed her arm and made her touch his stomach and back, full of deep, gashing scars. "Do you feel those? That's what I got at my house for even talking to my adopted father." He then made her touch his leg's long deep scar, "Do you feel that? That's what I got from my adopted mum for spilling paint on the floor. So maybe I have a reason not to like certain Muggles huh? That Muggle orphanage gave me over to those abusive drunkards." Obviously he wasn't lying when he said his adopted parents were abusive towards him. He then said, "Why wouldn't I want to speak to such a nice looking young lady such as yourself huh?"

James muttered as she walked off, "Slytherins..."

Rose winced as he grabbed her arm and she felt the scars underneath her fingertips. Her eyes widened with horror as he told her of the stories when he lived with these drunk muggles. She felt a pang of sympathy towards him and sighed sadly.

"Not all muggles are bad" She said, knowing her mother was one.

"Im sorry for what happened to you" She said, then blushed as she was told she was nice looking.

Mia halted and turned her head to look at James.

"You know Potter, just because your fathers famous, doesn't mean you should try to act all cool" She said with a smirk, trying to make a fool of James.

(Maybe Mia and James could get together after a while? ;P)

Merope walked beside Albus, not leaving his side. "It's not ALL that weird to me. I like it actually." Giggling, as she watched the students use magic in the classrooms as they passed. Albus landed on the floor with a thud beside her, quickly she helped him off his feet. "Are you okay, Albus?" She worried, as she fixed him up. "You fell pretty hard!" Gasping almost as she picked up his books for him.

Ada walked with a strut, while carrying her books in a fashion of smallest to largest. Her long blonde hair was neatly placed into a pony tail that swished as she walked. This time walking, she was alone. Whereas she liked being away from her clingy brother. She wore a long dress, of sparkles that glistened a bright red. Her lips were covered in red lipstick, the same colour as the dress. Many, many of the male students gawed at her beauty, the occasional whistle would emit and she would just smile.

Soon she spotted James, who was certainly looking dashing today. "Hey James." Her red lips parted a smile, that made the male students who were staring at her almost growl in defeat. She liked him, and him only, not any other male who gawed at her.

Salazar kept back his smile knowing that the sympathy she now had towards him had the desired effect. "Oh why are you sorry? It's not like you were there and it could have been stopped. All I'm saying is my sister thinks I am a hateful monster but she got the good adopted parents, while I got the abusive drunks, she doesn't know what I've been through." He then said, "So I must ask you do you read these books all the time huh? I must warn you that I was at the top of my class at my old Muggle school and I plan to be at the top of my class here as well so you have competition. Here's one guy who is not stupid you dork and is your intellectual equal," he said in a joking matter. He handed her her books.

James said in response to Mia, "Yeah well at least I don't act like Slytherins acting like they are better because they are 'pure-blood' or whatever!" He then saw Ada walk down the hall before staring and then rubbing his eyes, "Uh hey."

Albus smiled at Merope checking on him, "Yeah just my brother's antics." Suddenly they all walked into their first classroom, which was "Pure-Blood Studies" instead of "Muggle Studies" taught by Professor Pansy Parkinson. As she called out the names she was pleased to call out Salazar Riddle's name and reacted with special venom when calling out Rose Weasley's name, knowing who her mother was. She then smiled at the Slytherins and smirked at the other houses, being the Head of the Slytherin House. "Alright students thank goodness that awful Muggle Studies has disappeared and I have taken that class' place. Can you tell me the difference between a pure-blood, half-blood, and Mudblood?" She looked at Salazar and said, "What is the difference?" Salazar mumbled as he was forced to return to the bloodline thing, "A pure-blood is a family of wizards and witches, who have been pure for generations, only mixing with other wizards and witches, a half-blood is the offspring of a Mudblood and pure-blood wizard, and a Mudblood is a Muggle supposedly gifted with magical abilities." Professor Parkinson said, "Correct. Five points to Slytherin Mr. Riddle." She then publically humiliated Rose and showed her hatred for her mother as she called her to stand up, "Look at the mongrel characteristics of this child of an inferior Mudblood hahaha." The Gryffindors all reacted with anger.
