When You Need To Move On (DGFone and VitanisMate)

Frank grinned nervously, looking a way out of spending the rest of the day with these lions. He desperately wanted right now to go off and be alone. "Well, Zazu did really simply find me first. You could have just as easily been the one to save Kopa..."

Vitani grinned. "Looks like we'll have to wait then," she whispered back, groaning mentally. They won't be able to sneak away with Simba and Nala watching them, but she didn't want to wait all day either. "And what happened to your voice?" she asked, "why is it so raspy?"

Zazu said, "Oh nonsense Frank we all know a bird like me couldn't physically rescue Kopa and I didn't get to Simba first, I got to you first. You are the hero." Simba again smiled.

Kopa just said, "Oh uh I was trying to cover up what I was saying." Suddenly he went over to Nala and got her attention by nudging her, "Mom uh can we go back to the waterhole as long as we stay away from the water?"

Frank groaned and rubbed his head with a han.. paw. "Well, if you day so," he muttered. He didn't want to be the hero., he simply wanted to find a way home.

Nala looked down at her son and nodded. "As long as you are careful, you may," she answered. They were very close to the waterhole at any rate, but she still quickly found Zazu and beckoned him over as soon as Kopa ran back to Vitani. "As soon as they go, watch over the two of them," she told the bird.

Kopa walked with Vitani and said, "Well I didn't tell Mother the whole truth. I don't plan to be 'careful' at least not in the way she uses that word. The water isn't so bad..." He didn't know that Zazu was following them as quiet as he could behind them.

Simba said, "Well friend now that Zazu can hopefully watch Kopa you are relieved of that duty. You know I haven't really seen you eat that much. You must be hungry?"

Vitani grinned wickedly, liking the direction Kopa was going. "As long as I don't have to drag you out again," she whispered, "whatever you do, it's fine by me." Same with Kopa, she assumed that the two of them were alone, and was not aware of the blue bird flying just over them where they won't spot Zazu.

Frank's face fell. Now that Simba mentioned it, he was in fact, hungry. But this presented another problem: what was he supposed to eat? He figured that he might as well try eating as lions do, but he was afraid that he would find the taste or feel of raw meat unappetizing. Ignoring his nervousness, he turned back to Simba. "Yeah, I am hungry, actually," he said.

Kopa grinned as well before walking over to the water and saying, "Well Vitani I'm getting in..." Suddenly he jumped into the water but didn't come up after several seconds like last time. Zazu immediately went into heart attack mode again, "Oh my goodness! Simba! Nala! Anybody help!"

Simba walked with Frank towards Pride Rock and the carcass his pride had killed, "Why don't you go ahead and eat my friend?" He noticed that Frank was nervous to eat the meat, "Oh you don't like meat? Timon! Pumbaa! Come here! They have an alternative." Pumbaa came up to Frank with bugs and said, "Why don't you try them! Slimy yet satisfying!"

Vitani groaned again when Kopa once again went underwater. "I told you not to do that!" she shouted at him, but jumped in after him anyways. Quickly fining him, Vitani dragged Kopa back onto dry land. "Why did you do that?" she asked, panting for breath, "I told you that I didn't want to do that."

Frank didn't know what to say. "Alternative? What alternative?"

Kopa frowned at Vitani when she jumped into the water and pulled him out, "Vitani I said I was fine! There was no need to jump in after me." However Kopa smiled and this time he ran into Vitani and dragged her under the water, laughing. Zazu was shocked to see the cubs emerge again but grew nervous again when they both went under the water.

Simba said, "Why eat bugs," he said as if it was obvious.

Vitani yelped when Kopa dragged her back under water, and at first struggled to get back to dry land, but then quickly stopped struggling. She still had enough breath for a while underwater, and Kopa wasn't about to let her go, so she instead in turn pushed him into a deeper area. I can do this too! she thought.

Pushing Kopa way from her, Vitani quickly took a deep breath of fresh air before diving back down to her friend.

Frank froze. "Bugs?" That was the alternative? He didn't know which sounded more appetizing: raw meat or bugs.

Timon forced bugs into Frank's mouth and said, "Why don't you try some you mook?"

Kopa pointed towards the surface of the water and went back on dry land, "Uh Vitani I uh..." he paused, "I never really thanked you for saving my life when I almost drowned did I?"
