Linkin Park - Living Things new 2012 album

Postby FlipMode » June 19th, 2012, 12:19 pm

Sooo new LP album has been leaked. It streamed on iTunes and someone has uploaded it to YouTube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6Xwf00LIBA
Album will be available to buy in like, a week or so and will most likely be available on Spotify too. But yeah, what do you guys think? To me it sounds like a return to old LP but with the electro sounds from their newer songs still there, they got a good mix of the electro and rock sounds now.
They went from rock, to electro and are now on a good mix between the two, the sounds remind of of something Juilen-K would produce, but everything else is definitely classic Link Park.

I think it's good that bands change up their music a little bit to keep things fresh, but I think Linkin Park went downhill. Big time. I completely quit listening to anything they put out. Although I'm listening to this leaked clip and it sounds so-so, so I think I'll give give their new album a chance when it comes out C:

EDIT: Oh shnike, that's 49 minutes of music I thought it was going to be a short song or something D:

This. They used to be pretty hip, industrial-ish rap-rock, but MTM was just add-water pop rock. I was extremely disappointed. I'll see what this one has to offer, though.

Yeah, so I listened to most of it. Pretty underwhelming, nothing really stuck in my head after listening to it. Not as bad as I thought it would be, since I kind of like an electronic/pop tone I'll give it that. I don't know, this just seemed generic though.

I think its pretty terrible to be honest. Didn't care much for LP after the first 2 albums.

I loved MTM. It's my favorite Linkin Park album.
