What that was missing from the original would you include this time? More background information on Zira perhaps? How Kovu became "the chosen one"? Answers below! :D

1. More cubs. Seems unrealistic that the prides in the LK series only have one or two cubs. It should be like a 'school'. LOL!

2. Grandma Sarabi's wisdom. True, we lost Madge Sinclair but I am sure there is an actress out there with a similar voice. I enjoyed Return of Jafar even though I know the Genie is voiced by someone else other than Robin Williams.

3. No stupid romance fluff. At best it could have been a subplot.

That's it for now!

Hmmm really? The romance plot worked well in the first film though. May not be to everyone's cup of tea but IMO its the love between the characters that makes people love the film in return (or one of the many reasons why people love it at least :P)

It was just so over the top in the sequel that I wish it wasn't there. It was just, ugh. That's why I said romance as a 'subplot' which is how it worked in LK one. It wasn't the highlight. It was just one part.

Ah yeah a lot of writers make that mistake of focusing too much on romance; makes it less believable sometimes I guess :)
I am still surprised no one has mentioned filling in certain gaps in the plot yet XD

1. Explain Zira's relationship with Scar in more detail. I like the idea that she was insane.

2. Explain why Simba is a grouch. Yes, parenthood changes people but a line or two to explain that would have been nice.

3. More Vitani.

4. Less Timon and Pumbaa. Sorry, but I really dislike them.

1. Give a detailed backstory of Zira and the Outsiders

2. Make Kovu's conversion to good more realistic. In the movie, he changed to good way too quickly. Realistically, it would take a few days to a couple of weeks for someone to convert, and they struggle with their identity.

3. Have Tim Rice and Elton John rewrite the songs...except "We are One" and "He Lives in You" (I love those songs), and have Hans Zimmer compose the score.

4. Have Kovu help Simba save Kiara. In the movie, Kovu says to his mother, "I will never let you hurt Kiara, nor Simba. Not while I'm here." But, when Zira tackles Kiara and roll down the gorge, Kovu does nothing to back up his words, and let Simba do all the work.

5. Probably make the movie more about Simba struggling to live up to his father's legacy, and make the romance between Kovu and Kiara a subplot

6. Have Nala play an important role in the movie.
