Election Day 2012

Postby TheLionPrince » June 15th, 2012, 6:35 pm

BARACK OBAMA vs MITT ROMNEY

Even though it's a bit too early to tell, who do you think will win the election in November? If you are an American who is 18+ years old, who will you vote for?

Personally, I would vote for Mitt Romney even though he has yet to offer his own economic growth plan...or that I have heard of. I just don't think Obama deserves to be reelected given that the economy has not improved much since he took office, and the deficit and natonal debt has skyrocketed moreso than it did in the Bush years. However, I will give Obama credit for a slightly successful foreign policy, but the main focus for this election seems to be the status of the U.S. economic system.

Romney.

Obama, while meaning well, knows nothing on how to run a nation. The longer he's in office, the worse things will get. I can post a huge rant, but will refrain from doing so.

So like thousands of people were protesting against wallstreet and the rich people. Because obviously the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. Now some kind of super rich businessman steps into politics whose religion permits to have multiple wives, allows racism, and is pro ''blood-to-blood punishment''.

Didn't anyone learn anything from the George W. Bush era?
I quote mister Romney on his views on Iran ''Ultimately, regime change is what’s going to be necessary'', really another war on oil Terrorism?

If I were American I'd vote Obama for sure. People need to have their freedom. In this economical recession war would be a disaster. We don't need more preposterous actions. You don't need more fighter jets and an even bigger defence force, you don't need to be in Afghanistan, You don´t need to give billions and billions of dollars to Africa when your own poor are struggling to live a normal life. So yes, keep the money. Own people first. You don't need to play the rich one when you obviously aren't. A large part of your people lives in poverty and that calls itself a developed country. Ha, developed my @ss.

Care for all the people, not a small group.

I'm not searching for a political debate with those who think I'm utterly wrong. It's called political views for a reason. I use reasoning on facts to get to my view. the same facts might get you elsewhere. (like if you are Bill Gates you eill obviously vote romney for the money his ideas

Obama does not offer freedom. The democratic party is against freedomat it's core, and here is why:

Republicans tell you to do what you want, but if you mess up, it's your bloody fault, and you clean up the mess, not the rest of the nation. If you can't clean it up... well, you got yourself into it, didn't you?

Democrats on the other hand take away responsibility. If you mess up, they will happily clean it up for you and let you start again. You lean nothing, mess up again, and once again get a fresh start. And everyone are happy.
...
...
... Except for smart and responsible people who either don't mess up or clean up their own mess. Those people have to pay for everyone else who are not responsible (who outnumber the others 10:1), until they too have to be taken care of by the big Government... which now has run out of cash.

Tell me how that will fix the nation exactly?
