He smiled a little before looking forward "No we'll have to take marks of for that little error plus he's not moving with the grass." Neo said starting to follow him.

Take kept going casuly walking in awe of the wildlife.

Nova crouched as they entered pridelander teritory and looked over at her carefree cub, hoping he would come back soon.

"Get out of here you runt" Zira snarled.

"SHUT UP" Vex snapped.

She had never spoken to Zira like that before and Zira looked both angry and impressed by her boldness.

"Brave... but foolish" She said, getting to her feet and raising a paw.

"Dont do anything here this is his test."

"I know..." Nova said, staying still, but still worrying.

Vex dodged the paw, and grabbed hold of it in her mouth, digging her fangs deep into her grandmothers paw.

"What are you doing fool?" Zira growled.

"Practicing.." Vex snarled in response.

"Come on follow me keep low and make sure he dosn't see us."he said croching low to the ground.

"Kovu's blind so that won't be difficult, even now when they are also blinded by grief" Nova said with a twisted smile.

Zira roared and threw Vex off, but she kept her feet and glared at her grandmother.

"So long as your around.. this war will never end" She snarled.

"Your pathetic! You think just because your my blood i'll just let you walk out here alive?!"

"No... I know what you threatened Vitani with... I don't want to be the exception, but I will be the one to end your life" Vex growled, her claws retracting.

"Yes it's a pity we cant strike while the irons hot." he smiled watching he son get closer and closer.

Nova laughed at this remark, then her attention turned to Taka once more. She was worried about her son, but she had faith in him.

"If that's how you want to play..." Zira said dangerously, her fangs now bared.

Vex readied herself for the attack and as Zira came at her, she met her with her own claws. They bit and slashed at one another, though Zira was more experienced and larger than Vex, the young lioness was doing a good job at defending herself.
