Umeme saw Lina looking at her and Muroki, and grinned because of it. "What?" she asked, giggling slightly, "you will be like this with Delano before you know it." She was confident that as soon as Delano would make his recovery, he will become inseparable from Lina. While Umeme remembered all the fights Delano had with Lina, she was certain that most were caused from Delano being preoccupied with other matters. But now with all the troubled done with, Umeme simply knew that Lina didn't have to worry anymore.

Lina felt slightly embarrassed by what Umeme said, having not thought that her being perhaps a little jealous of her sister and Muroki sometimes was that easy to catch on to. But then again Muroki had always been around and he and Umeme never had even the smallest argument, so it was only natural for Lina to wish that it had been the same for her and Delano. Still, she knew that her sister was right and that she shouldn't think about what was in the past. "First we really should have someone examine his leg. I think it will calm him down to know how long it would take for him to recover."

Umeme looked at Delano again, noticing how he held out his broken leg out awkwardly out his side. "Yeah," she muttered, "even if it will take a while, he should be happier knowing just how long he will have to wait." She recalled how right before he fell asleep again, Delano complained about the limitations the broken leg forced on him. Clearly, the damage was very demoralizing to him, making things even worse.

"Should we start carrying him back then?" she asked, "I mean, it might not be the best idea to have him walk back..."

Lina nodded at her sister, sharing her opinion that they should have Delano's leg examined, not only for him but also so that they'll know how long it'll take until things went back to normal. "Carry him back?" she asked, slightly surprised. "But we just got here..." surely it didn't take them this long to get to the waterhole from the den that they had to get going already if they wanted to get back before sunset did it? If it did then maybe coming to the waterhole until Delano's leg healed would be a complete waste of time.

Umeme shrugged. "Well, it took us a long time to get here," she said, "and if it will take us just as long, then we better start getting back..." She looked at Delano again, wondering what would be the best thing to do. "Like Muroki said, he overworked himself getting here, so I don't think that it will be a good idea to let him walk back." She though about it some more. "But if we take turns carrying him back, we should be able to get back faster. This will mean that we can stay here for longer then."

What she didn't say was that the entire reason for coming here was for the four of them to enjoy their time together, but with Delano out of it, the entire reason for coming to the waterhole was now useless.

Lina thought about what Umeme said, "It will mean we can stay here longer, yes..." she looked at Delano, "But it kind of loses the whole point if he's not awake doesn't it?" the looks on the faces of her sister and Muroki showed that they agreed with her. They wouldn't be able to spend the night there in order to wait for Delano to wake up either because it will get too cold during the night.

(( I've been thinking about how I've been having a lack of will to post here as often as I did before. I think that we need to have some sort of thing going on or otherwise it kind of takes out the fun of it. ))

Umeme nodded gloomily. "I think we came here too early," she said, "we should have waited longer, at least until Delano could have come here without problems." The error with that was that they thought that he was well enough, but really he wasn't. She was out of ideas of what to do. "So do we go now and go slower, or wait and leave in the last moment possible?" There wasn't much point in staying here now, but she didn't want to make a rash decision.

At that moment, Delano let out a groan and began to stir. He blinked, trying to see though the have that covered his vision. "What... what happened?" he asked quietly, and coughed slightly. "Where am I?" He looked around with his eyes, but couldn't identify where he was, and wasn't able to remember either.

Lina nodded, agreeing with her sister. It may not be the best idea for the mto come there until Delano's leg was completely healed or at least close to being completely healed because it will be a complete waste of their time. "Maybe it will be the safer option to go now." She smiled when Delano woke up again. Not that she was worried, because she knew that he was just resting, but still. "You passed out again." she explained, offering him a gentle nuzzle.

Delano returned Lina's nuzzle as he slowly started to remember what was going on. Lina's reply left him feeling slightly scared, not liking the fact that he passed out twice in such a small amount of time. "Wait... where do we want to go now?" he asked, not knowing what the others were talking about. "I thought... I thought we wanted to be here." He looked at the others, confused. "It's why we came here, right? Why do we want to leave now?"

I'll be gone for most of next week and it is very unlikely that I will be able to post. I will if I can though. Should give you enough time to figure out how to bring Gakuru back into the story nicely.

Lina found herself having a little hard of a time answering Delano's question. It was true that they had to go back now in order to make it back before sunset because of his leg but Lina didn't want Delano feeling bad, because they weren't blaming it on him at all. "If we want to get back before it's too cold we'll have to get going now..." She hoped that Delano wouldn't take it personally, but coming here wasn't going to be an option until his leg was fixed.
