I just saw the E3 Halo 4 thingy on Youtube and I was quite.... disappointed. To summarize why I hate Halo 4, I will give these few points:

1. Halo 4 is supposed to be much more open and exploration-based. Why did I see a very linear (Jungle tunnels much?) straight up shooter.

2. It's supposed to be story-driven. How come this story already contradicts the plot already? Halo 3, humans are finally at peace with the Elites. Halo 4? SHOOT THE ELITES!

3. The music. Was supposed to be similar to Marty O'Donnel. It isn't. It's boring and forgettable.

4. Graphics. It's a 360 exclusive, I think we know what that means. (Bad).

Honestly, I don't see why Microsoft still thinks that Halo has a story left to tell. The story was killed off when Halo 2 was forced an early release, and a cliffhanger. Ever since, Halo is a multi-player game.

If you want to play Halo for the single player, play 1 or Anniversary.

Halo is a multiplayer game. Nobody plays shooters for anything other than shooting other people.

It wasn't always like that. :( There was once a time when shooters were intelligent, and the multi-player was simply something to do after you beat the story. However, today is not that day. Now the best shooter is defined by how expensive the .01% expansions map packs are.

^ I think the same thing here.

-Nintendo, as much as I love them, epicly failed at the presentation of the WiiU and showed a bunch of ports and horrible mini-games games. (Nintendo Land?!? I mean, wtf?) I hope for them that their console will be able to do better than this...
-Sony and Microsoft, on their sides, weren't as bad and showed a few good things but didn't present anything that was surprising or that "wowed" me.

With what I saw, I guess that I won't be buying any games anytime soon. That's a good thing for my wallet I guess.

Couldn't agree more, although to be honest this is the first year I've really paid attention to it. I mean EA's "new" NFS Most Wanted? It just looks like the past two games (On The Run and Hot Pursuit) Neither of them had anything close to a story.. I mean come on. WE DON'T CARE ABOUT COMPETING WITH OUR FRIENDS. WE JUST WANT A GOOD STORY!

Same here, maybe the Tomb Raider Reboot and possibly 007 Legends but that's it.
