Delano averted his gaze, feeling foolish. "Oh, right, that... yeah, I... I forgot." He grinned, feeling his face warm up as he blushed in embarrassment. He shied a little away from Lina, but returned to her side right away, even though he still felt his embarrassment. "It will be great to return there," he said, trying to act normal again, "how long was it since we discovered it?"

He tried to recall when he and Lina had first found the waterhole. It felt like so long ago, almost like a previous lifetime. As he was thinking, Delano spotted Umeme and Muroki exiting the den, and immediately straightened out, not wanting to look silly in front of his brother. "Time to go?" he asked.

Umeme grinned at Lina when she left the den with Muroki. "Yeah, its time to go," she agreed. She rubbed hear head on Muroki quickly. "Let's go?" She was quite eager to go, and didn't mind leaving right now.

Lina thought about Delano's question. "Um... I'm not sure exactly... A month, maybe two..." it was something around that amount of time but she couldn't remember for certain because Delano left soon after they discovered the waterhole, and when he was gone it seemed like an eternity. Nevertheless she was quite excited to go there again, and now that Umeme and Muroki would there they could get going. "Sure, let's get going." she said, the excitement noticeable in her tone.

Delano frowned. Had it really been only that long? It felt like more than a lifetime for him. He shook his head, clearing it so that he no longer worried about the past. "Alright, let's go," he said, smiling. He got up to his feet carefully and slowly began to walk, figuring that as they would be going slower, they might as well start as soon as possible. Careful not to place his broken leg on the ground, he wobbled onward, grinning when Lina moved next to him.

Umeme saw that Lina and Delano were already going, so she nudged Muroki. "Come on, let's get going!" she whispered excitedly. The four of them were going to spend the entire day together, and she could hardly wait to start.

Muroki smiled at Umeme and began to slowly follow Delano and Lina, not wanting to walk in front of the two so to not give Delano the impression that he was slowing them down. Well he really was slowing them down, but Muroki didn't have a problem with that at all and the less Delano thought about his low speed the less uncomfortable he would feel. Muroki would have gone ahead and allowed Delano to lean against him but Lina seemed to have it covered already. Plus he was pretty sure that his brother would feel better about leaning against Lina rather than against him.

Delano didn't really notice how much slower they were walking, but he did notice how uncomfortable it was to do so, especially whenever he would accidently step down on his broken limb, causing pain to shoot throughout his body. With Lina's help he was able to ignore his discomfort for the most part, and he continued on, determined not to give up. For a long time they walked in near silence, until they got to a certain place that he recognized as hardly half way to the waterhole.

He groaned, feeling his spirits drop. Delano knew that the walk would be hard, but he didn't expect it to be this long or painful. Even with Lina's help, he still wasn't able to prevent himself from using his broken leg, which was by now burning in pain from even the few times that he forgot to keep it off the ground. "Can... can we stop fort a while?" he asked Lina, hating himself for having to do so. "I need to take a break..."

Slightly behind Lina and Delano, Umeme was enjoying the walk, as slow as it was, with Muroki. She noticed Delano stop walking suddenly, wondering what made him do so, but knew that Lina was there for him. Despite that, the two of them also stopped walking, if only as not to leave Lina and Delano behind.

Muroki didn't want Delano to feel like a burden so he didn't make harold appear annoyed at them having to stop in order for him to take a rest. It was true that he didn't mind, because he enjoyed being at Umeme's company regardless of what they did together. Lina didn't mind the pause either because Delano's health came before anything, which was why she would stop and wait with him whenever he needs the rest

Delano lay on the ground, waiting until he would feel strong enough to start walking again. As he rested, he looked around at the others. Lina looked content to stay next to him, while Muroki and Umeme also looked fine with each other. But despite this appearance, Delano couldn't help but feel like he was responsible for slowing them down and making the day worse. Unable to walk away to be alone, he covered his eyes with his paws, hoping that soon enough they will be able to get going again.

Umeme was fine sitting next to Muroki, not really caring where they were. Sure, the plan was for them to go to the waterhole, but the four of them were together, which was more important. As her mind wondered, she also found it slightly odd how for the most part, there was nothing left to worry about. Umeme's eyes fell on Lina and she grinned, getting an idea.

Getting up, Umeme walked over to her sister. "Hey Lina, can I talk to you for a moment?" she asked.

Muroki couldn't help but become curious when Umeme suddenly asked Lina to talk to her privately, since he could swear he could see Umeme holding back a grin as the two walked away. Still, he wasn't one to eavesdrop on conversations. He thought about taking the opportunity to talk with his brother but, seeing that he didn't really feel like talking, decided against it. Meanwhile Lina sat down next to her sister after they were some distance away from the two males, "What is it?" she asked, wondering what could it be that Umeme didn't want anybody else listening.

Umeme looked at Delano and Muroki to make sure that they were really alone. "So how is Delano so far?" she asked, "not giving you too much trouble?" These questions were really useless, but she asked them not only to see what Lina thinks, but also to use the answers to see if there was any point in asking what she really wanted to know.

She remembered the fight from the day before, and while it looked like Delano and Lina had gotten over it, she didn't want something like it to happen again. "Is he at least talking more now, or he still mostly quiet?"

Lina shook her head, "No, he's not giving me any trouble at all." so far it seemed like their fight yesterday was going to be the last one, something Lina hoped was true. "Well... he does talk more, a little more, but he still isn't exactly the same as he used to be..." maybe it was because of what he's been through or maybe he was just depressed because of his broken leg, she didn't know. "But at least it looks like he's getting better." she added, looking in Delano's direction.
