Anyway, the people bashing the show just drive me insane. Honestly, if you don't like it then stop watching and move on with your lives!
I mean, I don't judge people for watching Family Guy or The Simpsons. And I can't stand those shows.

Anyway... Those people clearly have no lives and personally I think they should just be ignored.

The loss of Ponibooru is sad but I heard Derpybooru will be hosting a lot of stuff. In the meantime we've got two months to save any images we want before it goes dark. There are even .torrents* available from the site admin that group the four ratings of images in big .zip files. So far I see they only have one seeder other than myself, so as soon as mine are finished I'll leave them so others can get what they want from them too.

*while many .torrents contain illegal copyright-infringing content, it's my understanding that the Ponibooru torrents are legal.

IDK why they don't ever have new pony episodes during the summer when everyone's pretty much free and not doing as much school/work.

You kinda answered your own question, people are not doing as much work. Besides every show has season breaks during summer. A lot of people watch less TV during summer since they go on vacation and travel around so it's better show new episodes at fall instead when everyone returns home.
