"But daddy, it's not his cub its Kovu's, I don't want to bring my old problems onto my new life." Dropping her head and feeling depressed because of her break up with Kovu.

Simba merely looked at Kiara. "You must do this. If you don't, he will notice your pregnancy and think you have been unfaithful to him," he said.

Kiara dropped her head, "B-but Daddy. I don't want to talk about K-" She stopped and swallowed. "-Kovu. Any more." She finished, "He tore my heart out." She could feel a lump in her throat. "Do I have to tell him about my past, or just about the cub?" Looking up at him, with sadness in her eyes.

Simba smiled. "Just the cub. He doesn't need to know any more than that. If he truly loves you, he will do the right thing," he said.

Kiara smiled; "Can you summon Ali for me? I have yet to know where he is." Staring off into the Pridelands with a mere confused look.

Suddenly, Prince Ali appeared from nowhere. "What do you have to tell me?" he asked.

Kiara walked up to him. "We can discuss it in a walk." As she walked down Priderock. Once they were a little away, she stopped. "Ali, I know this is going to be some news for you, but, I was in a previous relationship. As you know, and we conceived a cub. Which means I'm pregnant at the moment." She paused, took a deep breath in and continued. "Would you be able to accept this cub, as your own?" Looking up at him with her big red eyes, for approval.

Ali smiled. "Of course I will, Kiara. We will raise it together and it will become a mighty lion," he said proudly.

Kiara had tears, and she brought him in for a hug. "Thank you, Ali." She whispered, placing her head on his shoulder.

Ali smiled. "No worries, love. It would be wrong of me to reject a newborn cub simply because I didn't sire it. No, I'm not like other lions," he said.
