Finishedddddd finally. XD I'm really happy that all of the lions look reasonable together--usually I can barely manage two in the same picture, they just never look right. Anyway, this is the pride of lions known as the Meadowlanders--who rule the Meadowlands, fittingly. The Meadowlands are past the Outlands, but they curve around and border part of the Pridelands.

I drew this for my TLK story about Mheetu. He's the pale cub with spots on the right. The King and Queen of the pride are up top, Filimbi is the dark-maned male and Madini is the gray female. Their son and Prince is the teenager cub beside Filimbi. They have a daughter, Hatari, the dark cub in the center.
The two lions in the bottom left are Mjanja (male) and his mate Kijani (female). They have a daughter named Nzuri, who is the bottom-most cub. The top right is Uchawi, the gold lioness and her son Kishindo, the chocolate-brown cub to her right. Kupata is the reddish-female behind her. The last two in the bottom right corner are Kitawi (foremost) and her twin sister Ngoma (behind).
