We all have our theories...I used to think that while Kovu wasn't Scar's son, Nuka and Vitani were his cubs. After all, why would it matter if they were related to Kiara? It's Kovu she falls in love with. They both seem to have some of Scar's features (of course so does Kovu, no doubt thanks to the fact that he was meant to be Scar's son before Disney saw their goof) I'm not so sure on that theory anymore. Now I feel Scar had no cubs, maybe he was planning to (ie: in the musical he tries to make Nala his queen but she rejects him and then leaves) Since the musical is canon I tend to look at it as an expanded version of the original movie that shows us more than the movie ever could.

Vitani is roughly the same color as Nala, that's true...her eyes. Well. They always looked more purple to me, or a deep indigo blue. Nala's eyes are aqua, at least that's how they've always looked to me. They seem to change from green to blue throughout the original movie but that may be thanks to the lighting in certain scenes. In SP they look more blue; I personally prefer how they look in the original more. Vitani's eyes are much darker than Nala's at any rate...it is cause for debate on where the gene for her blue/purple eyes came from though.

I don't think Vitani is Scar's daughter because it seems like she would be too young.

To me when I herd nala say Vitani to respond to that comment I thought it was phetalony. But earlier in the movie I thought it was phatawny. I was wrong though. I know it's Vitani

Yeh l see now. She probably said it wrong. Cuz the name is Vitani, I have read the fouth book. Vitani becomes a main char.

It's funny that you mention this because this actually was going to be part of the movie at one time. You can watch the rough deleted scene here. However, I debate whether to consider this to be canon in the movie universe or not. In the final version of the movie, Nala specifically mentions that she "left to find help". If she really left to escape Scar's advances, she would have every incentive to tell Simba at that point to try and outrage him into coming back. Because of this, I lean on the side that the deleted/Broadway scene is not canon in the movie universe, which is too bad because I personally think the the scene adds quite a bit to the story. It both further builds our sympathy for Nala and makes Scar even more despicable.
