It's my bunny again....local vets are refusing to treat him any more =/ so I'm now having to find someone else who will, before he gets worse. It's so worrying and frustrating. It's not like his condition is even that rare or anything, my local vets just don't know enough. They want me to put him to sleep >:(

Thanks Soph. I'm not giving up yet, I'm gonna keep fighting for him. I may have found a better vet a bit further away but still quite close, so I'm hoping she'll be able to help us. Fingers crossed.

Aww no I find with vets, you do have to push them. I had to force mine to give Luna an injection. He said it probs wouldn't make any difference, but he did anyway. It helped ALOT. I just knew it would.

Could you see another vet at the practice? Or is there another vetinary place near to you?

oh yes, I had to push for the courses of antibiotics he did have, but now they're just refusing to treat him anymore =( I think I may have found another vet who is supposedly great with small animals, I contacted her and she asked for his medical records and stuff so I think she's taking it seriously. 45 minutes away by car though....but if she's as good as people say it'll be worth it anyhow. All the ones at this practice are useless I'm afraid. The only reason I went to them in the first place was because they're close. But I'd rather travel for a great vet than be stuck with these idiots.

Thank you Stupid vets suck, especially when you have an animal with a chronic condition that will require treatment on and off for the rest of his life. My female bunny isn't spayed either due to local vets being crap, but this may change in the future if I find a good one :3
