Delano smiled at the suggestion. "Yeah, I would like that," he said. He didn't mention that he wasn't looking forward to the walk over to the waterhole, but he knew that the time spent with Lina and the others would be well worth the pain and discomfort of getting over there. "When are we going to go there?" he added.

Umeme was surprised to hear Muroki speak about his parents. "Really? What were those special occasions?" she asked, wanting to learn more about his past. "Because you told me that you lived all by yourselves, so you couldn't really get rough on other lions, and I've never seen you and Delano fight before..." She grinned. "So do tell what the two of you did to get a dose of discipline."

Lina thought about it for a moment. Umeme didn't mention a specific time for them to go, and if she did then Lina must have forgotten. "I'm not sure... Since it'll take some time to get there then probably not today." the day was half over, and they would want to spend as much time at the waterhole as possible. Not to mention that with Delano's injured leg it will take them even more time to walk there.

Muroki couldn't help but chuckle at Umeme's curiosity. At first after his parents died he avoided ever mentioning them and even tried not to think about them, because whenever he did he usually ended up on the verge of tears. That was far behind him though, and he didn't mind speaking of his parents now. "Rarely." he admitted, "Mostly when Delano and I were little. Like most cubs we were too curious and too energetic. We would sometime return home late or go to places we weren't allowed to go to. Actually like all siblings we used to get upset over every single thing the other did, but I guess all brothers and sisters act like that when they're little."

Delano nodded. "Well, I guess that we can go tomorrow," he suggested, "It will hurt to get there... but I really want to go." He rubbed his head against Lina's, suddenly feeling lonely. "When I was alone in the dark cave, I was always thinking about you, and I wanted to get back to you as soon as I could..." he smiled at her, "what I mean is that I really want to go. It will be nice if we do, even if we will have to wait for it."

Umeme let out a short laugh. "Yeah, I guess you and Delano are not to different from me and Lina," she said, "what? You think we always got along nicely? Besides, we also had Kasi to mess about with." She grinned wickedly. "When our parents decided to leave the cave, I think that they were very nervous about leaving us alone with him, even though his parents were still here."

Lina smiled back at him, "We'll help you get there." she doubted they could do more than allow him to lean against one of them for support, but that was better than nothing. "I'm also looking forward to it." It's been a while since she's been there with him, and going there along with her sister and brother-in-law sounded even better.

Muroki couldn't help but chuckle. "Really?" Despite the visits he, his brother and their parents would get from Kasi and his parents every once in a while he hardly ever saw him. Realizing that he hardly knew anything at all about his cousin, he was eager to know more. It also interested him to find out more about Umeme's past. "Sounds like the three of you were even worse than Delano and me."

Delano smiled at Lina. "Thanks," he said softly, "it will mean so much for me," he hesitated a little before adding, somewhat uncertainly, "and I think it will mean a lot to you too." Feeling tired, he sat down next to her, even though he wanted to continue standing next to her. As he sat next to her, he rested his head against her body, purring slightly at the comfort that she was able to give him.

Umeme chuckled at what Muroki said. "Oh, you have no idea," she said, "even with four grown-ups, it was sometimes early impossible to keep the three of us at bay." She laughed again, nudging Muroki as she did so. "You should have seen us on a bad day. Three cubs, all wanting attention... We were a real hassle. I sometimes think that Kasi and his parents visited you guys just to keep him away from us more than to visit the two of you." She laughed some more before calming down and nuzzling Muroki again. "Just be glad that you didn't come sooner, when we were worse."

Muroki couldn't help but chuckle. He tried to imagine Kasi, Umeme and Lina together as cubs who couldn't sit still for more than three moments with their parents trying to calm them down all the time. It was rather amusing, but it probably couldn't compare with the real thing. "I don't think it would have been that much of a problem." he said, returning her nuzzle, "You know you can get as much attention as you want from me." he couldn't help but chuckle again, "Even if you're not a cub anymore."

Umeme smiled fondly at Muroki. "Thanks," she said, "and you already give me all the attention I want. That, and more." She smiled and leaned her head against his, only to look up when a shadow swept over them. She frowned when she saw a vulture circling around them. It would be only a matter of time before more would come. "Ugh, I hate vultures," she muttered, "Let's go move the kill to where they won't find it." Umeme didn't want to lose the zebra to some scavengers, and if they will hide it, the birds would go away.

Delano found himself falling asleep again, and instinctively jolted himself awake again. He blinked, looking around and realizing that he wasn't alone in the dark cave anymore. He sighed in relief and leaned back against Lina.

Muroki also took notice of the vulture around them. "I know. They don't even hunt." It was also true that lions would also9 not hunt if they found a dead animal because it was much easier, but vultures never hunted on their own unless their target was injured. "Yeah we should move it, have them work for their food for a change."

Lina at first became slightly worried when Delano suddenly tensed, but she calmed down when he leaned back against her and decided not to say anything.

Umeme got up and walked over to the zebra with Muroki. "We can drag it over to one of the small holes next to our den," she said, "and then cover it up. That way, the vultures won't get to it, and it will still be close to us." She picked up one end of the zebra, allowing Muroki to pick up the other. "Just follow me," she said, her voice muffled from her closed jaws.

Delano felt uneasy at having been afraid of sleeping again. He had to keep telling himself that he wasn't in the cave anymore, but no matter what he tried, he was still too afraid to go back to sleep. "Lina?" He asked quietly, "I was just..." he stopped ,feeling unsure if he wanted to continue or not. "I uhh... never mind." He placed his head back against her body, trying to get some rest, but once again unable to bring himself to sleep again.

Muroki nodded. "Alright." now that the zebra was half-eaten, carrying it would not be of any difficulty compared to after they first caught it if at all. He picked up the other end of the zebra and slowly followed her, indeed finding it much easier to carry in comparison to earlier that day. Maybe next time they went hunting for somebody else they could first eat their own share so that they'll have an easier time carrying the kill.

Lina looked at Delano somewhat worriedly. "Is something wrong?" his tone when he began talking to her and the way he suddenly changed his mind kind of gave him away, and she could also feel that he was having a hard time calming down considering the fact that he was right next to her. She wouldn't push him for answers this time in case he didn't want to talk to her though. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."
