"Ghost" stories?

How interesting, Woeler. It's really hard to tell if it was just the pills making you see things or if it was something else. But there is a good chance your grandpa was there with family. The love doesn't die just because the body did. Either way, that's a pretty cool experience. ^^

@arani I dont understand one thing. if all ghosts and spirits literally are the souls of dead people, does that mean that after we die, we are forced to roam arround the earth for eternity? isn't it maybe possible that all ghosts/spirits are not the souls of dead humans at all, but something more sinister, and that actually the REAL soul of a dead person goes to heaven or hades? And no, I'm not refering with ''hades'' to the god from greek mythology, but as a nicer term for hell/damnation, because hades is also known as the ''realm of the dead''.

don't get me wrong, these are just questions though. :D

@Nickolas: I believe that what happened to the person somewhat defines if they stay on the earth or not. If they went through horrific experiences, they might not be able to let go, for example. And I also believe that spirits have a choice of either walking the earth or being in the heavens. It's very complicated. We'll never truly know why spirits do what they do. And yes, maybe there are spirits that did not belong in a body at all, but I don't believe that any kind of spirit is bad or evil. They cant hurt you or anything. It's all just guesses. We'll just have to wait and see, eh?

I see. another interesting question; where do you think the soul/spirit of evil persons like Hitler are is right now after they died?

I personally believe that all spirits go to heaven and find peace and happiness. No matter what bad things said person has done. I don't believe in hell or other such things. If a person's only purpose after life is to suffer for eternity, why live at all?

possibly. okay, lets asume everyone goes to heaven. what about mass murderes and child pedophiles who were lucky enough to get away with their deeds in their earthly life? do you also believe they will automatically go to heaven?

Of course. It's no different from them getting punished. In Heaven everyone finds peace. And even mass murderers and all get that peace as well. Down on Earth we all may hate each other and fight wars, but in heaven all there is is love and peace and happiness.

well, thats were I disagree a bit if you don't mind  I just hate the thought if I watch a sad movie or documentary about the jewish holocaust and concentration camps, that hitler is right now partying in heaven with all his nazi's. I also can't imagine that.

In my opinion, I think life is just a seed. and only when we die will we see if our seeds have growed into good fruits or bad fruits. Also, if there is no hell but only heaven, does that mean that we can do as many bad things as we want such as killing, stealing, whitout fearing to face concequences? that's why I believe there is also a hell, so there will be a balance and justice for everyone.

I personally think no person is ''evil''.
I believe there is always a reason behind it and all they need is help or learn to understand things.
Some people are really ''sick'' in their minds and they just don't know the difference anymore between sanity and insanity.

But I do believe most spirits or ghosts are demons though.
Waiting for the right time to trick someone and haunt or even kill them in some way.
I mean, what sense does it makes that ghosts have the form of their former body anyways?
It was just very simple a body they used to live in. Now they died, they don't live in that body anymore and the body is even gone in most cases.

It does not matter at all. Does the thought that Hitler is in hell satisfy you? Does that take away the fact that he killed millions of people? The man outsmarted us all, all those millions. He did the damage and then he died, he won. We either accept that or we put him in imaginary places like hell. Thinking that he is in hell somehow satisfies people. In life there is no retribution and there are no ultimate consequences.

if spirits really exist, all souls are equal and yes, that means that your soul is equal to the soul of Adolf Hitler, Osama bin Laden, Saddam Hussein and mine. If true, all souls are born equal and will die equal and this life would be no more than an in between passage.

I'd rather believe this is not ''just a challenge''

It doesn't satisfy me if someone goes to hell, if hell would be real. I just can't imagine hitler in heaven, and as well murderers and pedophiles in heaven like in Arani's opinion. Also, I thought you didn't believe we have souls. :?
