Zira was cheating on Scar?

I think she did cheat on him, because Kovu is not Scar's son. In one of my fanfics, I had Zira have an affair with another male lion and out of that came Kovu and Vitani. (No, I don't support the whole "Vitani is Scar's daughter" theory.)

Count me among those who don't believe that Scar and Zira were ever actually mates who mutually loved each other. As others have already theorized, I think Scar probably used her for his purposes, but that's the extent of it.

I do think it's possible that he picked her to try and have an heir, thus producing Nuka. Indeed, Nuka's contempt for Kovu not being Scar's biological son seems to hint at this scenario. However, I don't think that they were mates in the same sense as the other TLK couples who mirror human marriage. It was probably just convenient for Scar to have a lioness who was so devoted to him rather than being repulsed. Therfore, Zira mating with a rogue male wouldn't really be cheating on Scar.

Then how could she hang out with another lion when she really loved Scar? I guess we'll never know lol!

Like an one night stand? Lol, idk.
I believe Scar wasn't a very romantical person or something even if he truly loved her, so..could be the cause for Zira to cheat on him.
But then again, why would Scar want Kovu as the king then?

But Scar already had a son with Zira; Nuka. Maybe he didn't think of Nuka as THE right king, so he chose Kovu.
