This is my entry for the archive-wide contest over on TLKFAA called "Malka's Mother."
I think that Malka's mother would be kind, caring, and forgiving - yet fiercely protective of her son. Her name (in my theory) would be Msamaha, which means "forgivness" in Swahili.

Here's the story:
Malka: "Mum, are you mad?"
Msamaha: "Why would I be mad?"
Malka: "Because I ran off and caused all this trouble."
Msamaha: "Yes, you did, but you regret it and I think being chased by hyenas would be punishment enough!"
Malka: "So you're not mad?"
Msamaha: "Of course not. I'm just glad you're safe."
