Nuru's mother looked at him, "I have wept so often to see her alone and abandoned."

Ophelia nodded and followed them only to notice that she was slowing them down. Suddenly however she had an idea. "It's not over yet..." she muttered quietly, mostly to herself, before looking at her father. "You go on, I'll meet you there." with that she broke into a run in another direction.

Nello said defensively, "She's not abandoned."

Her grandfather looked at his son, "Let her go. Besides we must reach our destination. I will help you against her son."

Ophelia's father looked at his own father, "What are we going to do?"

Ophelia meanwhile made her way back to her mate's body. She was starting to feel the effects of blood lost but ignored it. After fighting back the tears upon seeing the body again she made a grab for one of his antlers.

His father said simply, "Stop him."

Nello meanwhile coughed and said, "Uh yeah anyway I'm a bad deer but I still love your daughter..."

His son held back a sigh, "What I meant was how."

Nuru's mother simply said, "So long as you help raise those fawns and they grow up seeing a pair of parents who love each other dearly." she appeared calm in her expression but there was something in her tone which showed she was not at all happy.

His father looked at him and said, "Why do you not trust me?"

Nello said, "Right." He said to them, "Anyway there's a murderous deer on the loose lately so we should all stick together." He went back to Nuru and said, "So uh...do you want to talk?"

His son said, "Why won't you tell me what we're walking into?"

Nuru looked at Nello when he came over, "Talk about what?"

His father said, "We are walking towards your grandson."

Nello said, "Well just anything you want to..."

His son finally gave up, "Forget it." he kept walking silently alongside him.

Nuru silently shook her head.

Nello said, "Well I doubt he hates me but we should all stay close just in case he does decide to kill anyone."
