Nova and Neo

Nova watched Neo fall asleep and smiled. She gently rested her head on his mane and she felt safer than she ever had. She stayed awake for three hours next to him, listening out for any signs of danger. Nothing came and she was pleased she could let Neo rest.

Eventuaily Neo awoke "So what did I miss"he smiled

Nova raised her head slowly as Neo awoke. She smiled softly.

"Not alot. No sign of Zeke or Ryu around. Neo... I feel so safe with you" She said, looking into his eyes.

Nova smiled and stood up alongside Neo, taking all weight off her injured paw.

"You feel safe around me?" She laughed "Even when mad lions follow me and attack you?" She sighed.

"I hope they never come back"

He put his body under Nov'as supporting and carrying her.

"Ha I love it I saw the fear and pain in they're eyes it made me happy"

Nova was grateful to Neo supporting her weight, though she'd wince every now and then.

"Neo, I want to learn how to fight like you. You don't feel fear. I don't want to feel fear and if we ever see them again, I want to help you kill them" She said thoughtfully, the idea of Zeke's fear pleasing her.

He smiled the idea of him and Nova working together to solely hurt these he smiled continuing to the entrance of the den.

"I can teach you to fight..to kill..to cause as much pain as possible...but I can't teach you not to feel fear I can't teach you to love feeling your victuim die that is something you must discover in your self and awaken."

Nova settled down once they reached the den and listened to Neo's words, her mouth stretching into a smile.

"I want to be free. I want to kill anyone who denies me my freedom. I will make you proud of me Neo. I will fight for both of us" She said, licking him on the muzzle.
