Nova and Neo

Nova drank the water and smiled as it hit the back of her throat. With Neo's threat however, she suddenly threw her head up in blind panic. There was nothing there. Or atleast, not anymore. Zeke and Ryu had turned tail and fled. They were thinking of a new plan and now seeing that Nova was in the company of a lion, they needed to think fast before they reunited with the pride.

"What is it?" Nova said, turning to Neo.

"I..I sensed something could be my mind though sometimes it plays tricks on me makes me see things."He said his eyes cold black voids

Nova looked at Neo, then over to where he was looking earlier. She then saw the dark look in his eyes.

"Hey, Neo?" She said.

She then dipped her paw in the water and tossed it in his face, soaking him. She laughed playfully and leapt into the water.

He soak his head as the water hit him shakeing him back to awarness "Ha come here you"he said laughing and jumped in after her.

Nova was quite a good swimmer, she had been taught by her mother. She dove under water and gently tugged Neo's tail as she passed him. Her head then surfaced and she laughed gently.

"Can't catch me" She said, swimming off again.

Neo looked up in surprise as he went order he resurfaced coughing and spluttering all over the place. "Not like this I wont"

Nova smiled gently, realizing that Neo was still wounded.

"I'll go and find you something to eat. Wait here" She said, leaping out of the water.

"I won't be long" She said, trotting off, hoping Neo would rest.

"Okay"he smiled watching as she trotted off he painfully pulled himself out of the water laying on the ground his body buirning in pain.

Nova trotted along happily. She had never felt so free and happy. A little later she managed to catch a lone meerkat. It wasn't much, but it would help Neo regain his strength. She was on her way back when something suddenly caught her ear. She looked round and saw something move in the shadows.

"Stupid hyena's" She muttered.

Though the next moment she heard the familiar roar of a lion and suddenly felt a sheer pain hit her as Zeke pawed her across the face, sending Nova sprawling to the floor. He crawled over to her and pressed a paw down on her muzzle, pushing her face into the dirt.

"Found you, traitor" Zeke growled in her ear.

"Let go of me" Nova snarled under his paw.

"Your my queen, and your coming home... NOW" Zeke snarled, removing his paw.

Nova shot up and growled

"Im not going-" She began, but Zeke hit her again, yet again Nova found herself on the floor, a set of deep cuts on her muzzle.

"Don't answer back" Zeke snarled as Ryu came up to him, Neo's meerkat in his mouth.

Neo dragged himself though the bush's in pain "Hey you'll have to find another lioness the girl dosn't wanna go with you." He growled weakly his body shakeing it was so painful to move but he had to push it to the back of his mind his claws withdrew. "*Tell me whatcha going to do now."
